Christmas

Been doing some Christmas shopping, we are just giving the
grandchildren money to get what they want as we have no idea
what to get them. I am going to see a Christmas show in the
theatre on Tuesday evening with my sister Carol, she bought the
tickets and Simon doesn’t want to go with her so I’m going,
should be fun.
Next Friday we are going to Abercynon for 2 nights, then the
following weekend we will put the Christmas decorations up and
then it’s only a couple of weeks till Kate and Steve arrive for
Christmas, looking forward to having them here.

Your plans sound lovely and if I remember over the years.....
you always DO have Christmas time plans :))))))))))))))))) How
lovely and it was good here when the grandkids were around but
nowadays ... it is just another day really but I DO have a home
made Christmas tree :))))))))))))))))))))
I think thats a good idea to give the grandkids money as a
pressie too, we did it once the grandkids got a bit older and
know there is NO Father Christmas really ;)
Who is in Abercynon ? I had to look it up ... so it might be
your Mat etc :)
I Hope you enjoy the Christmas show with Carol .. is it a
musical thing ?

Yes it’s Mat in Abercynon, we usually go down this time of year
as it’s their birthday on the 21st, they are 11 now so wanted to
go out with friends, they’d like clothes for their birthday so
I’ll take them out shopping and they can choose, as for
Christmas it’s not the same without kids around but we are lucky
this year to have Kate and Steve here, Eifion will spend it with
us too or he’d be on his own. Yes it’s a musical we are seeing x

Ah yes I do remember the twins birthday is around now ... On the
Cusp of Scorpio / Sagittarius :)
It will be nice for you to have Kate and Steve and its lovely

HAha Thanks had a decent sleep on and off last night .... normal
and today it was not so much HOT as warm and humid and windy
again ! I am still in my shorts and tee shirt at 9:30PM :) Must
be summer :)

Christmas is at Christene's this year, so thankfully, I won't
have to do a thing. We gave her money to help towards the food
etc. As I didn't get around to making a pudding this year, there
will be none.
I will start shopping on line next week for the wee girls
presents, just some clothes and maybe toy, as they have
everything that opens and shuts anyway!!!!
There will be no Christmas Cards this year, sorry Moira and I
haven't even got your birthday card!!! [emoji171]

I Am not buying any pressies this year ... nobody here
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO Christmas cards this year ..... just had a Message on FB from
Pam saying she is often sad and missing Linda :( Have you seen
it ??? So no cards from her this year either so I Am not
sending any either !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As for my birthday
card................hahahahaha never mind as I am not getting
any older !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I have seen the photos and the message Pam sent.
It will be strange not to send to cards this year, but I
honestly don't have the energy to spare at the moment to sit and
write them all out.
I will buy the presents for the girls online, that way I don't
have to go out. I often buy Christmas presents on line, beats
going to the overcrowded shopping centres.

Well I was planning on getting a few cards on Tuesday but really
and truly nobody sends any to us apart from you and Pam ......
maybe Annie !!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT this year it sounds like there
will be none at all !
BUT DOES it matter ?????????????????????????????????? NO... just
saves on postage :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
I don't buy pressies nowadays either and certainly not on line
!!!!!!!!! IF the grandkids were here then it would be a
different story but its just another day really !
