Darien or Kylie so I hope all is still good :)

I’ve got a stye, it’s really sore, I don’t remember ever having
one before either.

OH horrible !! I remember getting one when I was .... about 11
..so way back in 1960 ish ... and had to have a cover over my
eye for a couple of days !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thankfully I never had another one ! They used to be fairly
common way back but you rarely hear of them nowadays so I Hope
your stye gets better soon !!

What causes them in the first place ? Some sort of infection as
far as I can remember ? I Must look it up :)

I’ve been bathing it with warm water and using my dry eye spray
it’s slowly getting better, I cannot remember ever having one
before.

A stye is a lump on your eyelid caused by a bacterial infection.
Improperly sanitized contact lens, eye makeup, and conditions
like diabetes and rosacea can increase your risk of a stye.
Styes can be uncomfortable but usually go away on their own.
Practicing good hygiene can help prevent styes.
I DO remembered how I had one in Perth too when I first tried
wearing contact lenses instead of glasses

Stress can also cause them apparently, I don’t wear make up
these days, not done for years now. Anyway it’s a lot better
today, my dry eye spray has helped

AH same, same ... not worn any make up for many years .. except
eye brow pencil for my lack of eyebrows for many, many years
.........but nowadays I don't even bother with that
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why bother I Say :)
I Am glad to read your eye is getting better :) Yes Stress can
cause them !! I remember that now !
