my feet in warm water ..... yes got proper toe nail cutters and
good nail scissors and what did I Manage to do... CUT my
flipping middle finger !!!!! Blood all over the place !
YES... I have done it before PASS
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But at least most of my toe
nails are shorter now and will not annoy me when I have to wear
shoes !!!!!!!!
OK Once again bed time............ !!!!!!!!!!!!

You too could get your toe nails done professionally, but you
couldn't be bothered waiting at the nail place if they are
busy!!!!! Why not make an appointment with them to have them
done, that way you won't have to wait as long.
If I do them myself I usually end up cutting my toe, but never
my finger!! How did you manage that?

If there was maybe a nail cutting place nearby I WOULD make an
Appt. but I hate the idea of having to GO to either Hawera or
Whanganui for a certain time. For a Doctor's Appt. OK but other
basic stuff ?????? Pass. Its a DIY job ............... !
MY toes all tend to curl inwards towards the ground.. so its
hard to actualleh get to cut the nail .. I Have to HOLD the toe
... so I have to have my foot up on a stool so I do not have to
BEND so far to get hold of the toe !!!! ..... then I need the
nail clippers or scissors to cut the nail BUT sometimes my
finger is in the way .... PASS and the toe slips and the finger
gets the cut !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am sure that explanation is all Greek to you and I am sure we
have also discussed this before too..................I HAVE also
managed to cut my toe once or twice too and I DID buy special
toe nail clipper things once upon a time but where are they
??????????????? PASS !!!!!!!!!!

I think you have told us that before about Paul using a
Chiropodist... I have no idea if there is even one around here
!!! Maybe I will look.
I just remembered how the once local hairdresser also did nails,
fingers and toes.. but she is not there now !!!!!!

The reason Paul goes is he’s diabetic so they check his feet for
him at the same time

Oh so is Paul on Diabetic jabs or just pills ? Type 1 or Type 2
? (((((((((((((((((((((Paul))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
John was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes years ago and takes
pills but he keeps quite fit and eats well.... so he is doing OK
:) I think when we lived in Aussie they DID also check his feet
when he went for his Diabetes checks !! Not here as far as I
know !

Paul is type 2, he never knew he was diabetic till he met me, he
had been over to visit one weekend and felt unwell I checked his
blood sugar and it was off scale 😂 he’s on tablets and a
weekly injection as well, it’s well controlled considering he
eats what he wants

AH good job you had him checked out then !! I think I have a
vague memory of you doing this for Paul and taking him to ...was
it St James's hospital in Leeds ????
John just takes tablets nowadays and luckily does not need
injections any more. Not that the old jabs were hard for him
seeing as he was a nurse :)

Paul doesn’t mind the injection especially now it’s only once a
week instead of daily. No Inever took him to ‘Jimmy’s’ I took
him to Pinderfields in Wakefield when he had his heart attack
but for his diabetes he just went to the doctor
