I also use the broom to wash the windows, but I have a hose
readily available to wash down the soap suds. I have a window
cleaner brush as well, but the handle is only very short and
doesn't reach some of the windows on the outside.
I had forgotten you don't have an outside tap and have to use
the inside one. The laundry fittings could be the way to go. I
doubt very much you could get one to fit your kitchen tap.

Nobody had a go at window cleaning today anyway ... NOT that it
was raining but it was cold and windy .... I could have cleaned
the insides I suppose but Pass !!!!!!!!!!!! I do the inside of
the kitchen window over the sink often as I can see out of it
daily !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe tomorrow as the big
window at the end of the lounge area is getting on my nerves
with all the mess I can see after TRYING to clean it especially
when the sun shines on it !!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Window cleaning is a lot harder than it used to be, isn't it? I
used to do mine regularly, but I keep putting it off these days
until I can't stand it anymore!!!!
I am the same, I do my kitchen window more regularly as I see
out of it more.

long brush thing. BUT No window cleaning today even tho the sun
was shining and a lovely day ... I even put my shorts on .......
and sat outside reading the paper ... then did some washing
sheets then undies and Pjs. ALL Dried in the sun

It was a lovely spring day here yesterday as well, I did some
washing and Robert and I went out for lunch, not that I was at
all hungry. I ordered an entree size meal instead, tempura
battered prawns and to be honest I didn't even enjoy it!!!!!
I have started injections, Mounjara, to lose weight as I really
need to for my health. They suppress the appetite and make you
feel full, Rab and Gail have been on it for it a while and have
lost a lot of weight. Even though I am not eating much lately, I
wasn't losing weight. Hopefully these injections will work and
yes, I administer them myself once a week.

I had to look it up !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mounjaro is used for type 2 diabetes to help lower blood sugar
levels. Mounjaro has also been shown to help with weight loss
and maintain the lost weight in clinical trials when combined
with diet and exercise. It is a once-weekly injection that can
be self-administered and should be used alongside dietary
changes and exercise.
Bollocks to that I say !!! I DO not eat that much or too much
and cannot lose weight either, it is an ageing thing .... but NO
way would I try this . Ever ! I would not JAB myself anyway
!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [emoji15][emoji170][emoji57]
Have you mentioned they are on this jab before as it all sounds
familiar ??????????????

I believe I may have mentioned this before as I have been
thinking about it for ages now. It doesn't worry me, injecting
myself I mean, I already inject myself fortnightly for my
cholesterol medication anyway. I would ideally like to get down
to about 65kilos, so I need to lose 21 kilos to do that and as I
can't do too much exercise, this may help me. I certainly
haven't eaten much at all this past week, as it is making me
feel a bit nauseous, but that will pass as my body gets used to
the feeling of being full all the time. I just have to make sure
I eat plenty of protein.

I think I Am about the same weight as you then .... NOT That I
have been weighed for ages !!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't over eat either
and we do eat sensibly.. most of the time ;)
OK so you are capable of giving yourself an injection .... good
on you I say ..... you are brave :)) [emoji170] BUT How do you
know what this Mounjaro will help you as you do have quite a few
other health ...problems ?????

Even though I have other health issues, Mounjaro will stop me
snacking and having biscuits etc which is the main reason for my
weight I think. Some of the meds I am on also cause weight gain,
so it will help with that too. Diet is the main reason for
weight loss, how much you eat etc not exercise so much.
Especially at our age and my health issues.
I will soon find out if it will help me, won't I? [emoji4]

AH I see ..... I don't tend to eat sweet biscuits as such....
maybe now and again .. I Did eat crackers with cheese etc and
BUTTER !
Good luck I say [emoji170]
I was thinking about Mum and Yar last night and how they
eventually did lose weight as they got older .... Mum because
she ended up sick with Carcinoid Syndrome ... and Yar because of
..... Old Age and living in the rest home !
