       Hay fever
By: DarienJ Date: October 2, 2025, 4:22 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
I am suffering from bad hay fever at the moment, sneezing all
the time, watery eyes and a sore throat. It's been years since I
have suffered this bad, but we have so much wind and a lot of it
strong gusts too and you can see all the pollen and dust in the
air!!!!! I am back to taking phenergan 10mgs every night and
using my nasal spray of course. I wake up most nights with a
blocked nose and even have to use the nasal spray during the
       night..........I am over it!!!!![emoji31]

       OH (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Darien
       )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Been there and
done that BUT this year it has not been SO bad SO FAR despite
the wild winds and living in a field !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I do use nasal spray stuff before I get into bed every night
and sometimes Vick on my chest ....but once or twice I still
wake up with a blocked up nose ! I Blame John for pushing his
duvet on to me when he gets too warm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Off to bed now to get out of the moaning in here
       !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xxxx

It's just so damned annoying and I might have to get something
else other than the phenergan, although that usually does work.
I know it's not just me as everyone seems to be complaining
about it. Some years are worse than others for some reason.
I am surprised that living in a field as you do that you aren't
suffering as well. Although with all the rain you have had it
just washes the pollens out of the air.

I have been reading about the hay fever going around in ????
       Queensland .. I think !
Too much bloody rain here definitely and nothing growing that is
likely to set off any pollen problem... nothing at all growing
except grass and my few flowers ! " Long may it last " I say :)
I am happily saying that so far I do not have a sinus problem
and long may it last ...... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS: The only time I seem to get a bunged up nose is when John
tosses his duvet onto me in the night and I wake up sweating
cobs and my nose is bunged up !!!!!!!!!!!!! PASS :)

I slept right through last night without using my nasal spray,
so that was good and I am not sneezing this morning so far!!
It's going to be warm here today, 29C, I am not looking forward
       to Summer at all [emoji26]

Ah well done and long may it last ..... [emoji170] It is
horrible being bunged up all the time !
You have 29C ? Good job you don't live here as despite the wee
bit of sunshine this morning, now it is cold, wet and windy BUT
the rain has stopped pouring down and just a shower now and
       again !!!!

It's going to be the same here again today, at least all my
       washing will get dry!!!!!
I have been sneezing again all morning, no doubt due to the fact
that I was doing the gardening yesterday.

Quite peaceful this evening .... so far !
Tonight is supposed to be a full moon and a fancy one A Harvest
Moon ... AND of course I have my camera ready for some good

Oh what a shame we had cloudy evening as well. I wasn't too sure
what a Harvest Moon was, so I looked it up and hopefully the
clouds will clear this evening and I can get a look at it
       [emoji4]
The October supermoon happens to be the 2025 Harvest moon, the
full moon closest to the autumn equinox, which rises roughly at
the same time for several nights and provides more moonlight
       than usual.

I did get a couple of pics of the full moon here tonight as the
sky is clear BUT it just looks like any normal full moon BUT my
camera is not a posh one !!!! I did put up a pic or two on our
       FB page.
