I was like that too Chris, always cleaning, drives Moira
mad[emoji12] I just can't do it anymore though, not like I used
to, so I had to give in. My house always looks clean and even
the new cleaner said my house was very clean!!!!! Just don't
look under the bed, or on the window sill etc.

Well I DID used to spend a lot of time cleaning once upon a time
then it got boring when it was just me and John and NO stairs
and just a granny flat :)))))))))))))))) Ahhhh so boring
       nowadays :)))))))))))))))
Under the bed ????????????????????? PASS :) MY 4 window sills
are clean and dust free as they are my height and I SEE them
daily in this tiny place :)))))))))))
I have a vague memory of your LAST cleaner ... who said the
exact same thing when she first visited your house to clean
       Darien !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)))))))))))))))
I colour in and I read and I do bits in the garden ... I don't
walk much ...sore knee. Good excuse :)

I don't walk much anymore either, just when we are out shopping
etc, but I can't walk too far anyway any more. If it isn't my
feet or hips, it's my breathing these days that stops me. I was
actually having a dream about it this morning!!!!!!
I love everything to be clean and put in it's place, it has
always been very therapeutic for me to clean, it still is if I
       am stressed about something.
My relaxation has always been walking and reading, now I just
       read/listen.

I rarely walk much either except when shopping like today in
Hawera even tho I did not walk that much !! When I sit in the
car driving for half an hour and then have to get out and WALK
.... I am stiff till I get going again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its my legs, knees and hips that ache mainly plus my back after
       driving !!!
You have said that for years how cleaning is therapeutic for you
:))))))))))))) Good on ya :) MY relaxation is laying in or on
my bed, reading and falling asleep for a snooze :)))))) Plus
sitting at the table and colouring in :) OR like today ... I got
a few old magazines from the op shops in Hawera ... House and
Home type mags and I read them this evening after tea :) Cheap
pleasure but the mags were years old BUT they had never been
used so probably unsold stock ..... I think I have said before
how one or two Op shops get the OLD mags and sell them for 50c
       :)

I am the same, getting out of the car can be a workout exercise
in it's own right at times!!!!! Especially after a long car
       journey!!!!
What do you do with the magazines after you have finished with
them? Do you get ideas of what you would like to do about the
       place?

When I have read the cheap magazines I cut out some of the
pictures in case I need them to decoupage on my old bottles or a
canvas. I DO have a load of pics cut from old mags ! ALL
gathering dust at the moment in the book case !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The rest I take to the dump every now and again or put them into
the Yellow rubbish bin if there is space :)))))))))))))))
I DO sometimes get ideas too but the mags are old and actualleh
there is not much to DO around here except for the gardening
       things :))))))))))))))))
As for getting out of the car after driving for .... 30 +
minutes only ..... my knees especially ache and I do have to
walk up 3 steps here ! Actualleh its the same when I get up
from sitting at the table for meals or when I do my colouring in
after dinner ... IF I sit for too long !

Now you see for me, that is just clutter and I couldn't stand it
[emoji1] I would have to have them in a file somewhere out of
the way. That's how I had all my scrapbooking stuff, all in
files and compartment boxes that I had bought.
Deb is the same, her spare room is her craft room and it's a
lovely area, very neat and calming. That's exactly what you need
Moira, a calm place that you can have all your art stuff
together.........a place to call your own [emoji171]

Bugger I NEED to win the Lotto and get MY own place to do my
       crafts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't have a Spare room !
If ( or when ) you come to look inside this Granny flat ... IT
does look quite tidy really NOT full of stuff lying around :)
IF you look into the main cupboard in the hall way bit THEN you
will see the washer, hoover and 3 shelves full of STUFF
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention what is on the floor of the
       cupboard !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I DO need a shed or whatever to DO my stuff :) I believe I have
been saying that ever since we moved into this Granny flat
       !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know you don't have a spare room, more's the pity. You
certainly have been wanting a shed for a long time.........one
of these days dear friend [emoji171]
Perhaps if you do decide to come back to Aus, you will get
exactly what YOU want and not what everyone else thinks you
       want. ((((((((((((((((((((Moira))))))))))))))))))))
