Can you not go under Niagara Falls any more nowadays then ? I
may look it up as it was Scary but it was a great vision. NOT
That I can find my photos and I DID Have one or two I KNOW I DID
!
NO wonder it takes me ages to get to sleep as I Always have
something to think about and something to FIND !!!!!!!

Some nights it can take me ages to go to sleep, but usually I
sleep almost straight away as I have been so very tired all the
time.

Yes underneath the actual waterfalls ... a bit scary. I have
read what you mean about not being able to go under the falls
nowadays ... in certain places :)

It was a good experience and then we hitched down along the side
of LAkr Erie ... then down to Corry to visit S.Moira's sister's
husband's US family :)
IT takes me a while to get to sleep, always has done .....
unless I drink a bottle of wine !!!!!! BUT then I feel horrible
and so it is better to stay awake !!! :)))))))))))))))))))

I love hearing about all your travels Moira, it must have been a
great experience and Darien going to Vietnam, a friend of mine
has been and said it’s an amazing country, but it’s not
somewhere I have ever really fancied, now Canada is a different
story all together I would love to go there, I would like to do
the rockies on the train. My dad was in the navy and spent some
time in Canada, he did the rockies on the train and said it was
the best experience he’d ever had, he wanted to emigrate to
Canada but my mum wouldn’t go. As for boyfriends, Eifion was my
first ‘real’ boyfriend, let’s forget the idiot from London, and
then I met Paul, my true love, although we bicker at times,
wouldn’t change him 😂😂

I enjoy Moira's travel stories too and as we have always said,
she really should write a book about them!! I would love to do
that train ride through the Canadian Rocky Mountains too,
perhaps one of these days.

I had a lovely life..... leaving home at 17 and travelling to
work in Loch Awe, Scotland then Newquay, Cornwall then back to
Aviemore, Scotland in the Cairngorm Mountains to learn to ski :)
Then on to Europe .... Holland, Germany and Switzerland and not
forgetting Spain .... all for work in Hotels to earn some money
to travel more :))))))))))) And Italy and Greece for holidays :)
HAhaha I could go on and YES I should write that book !!!!!!!!
I met many, many lovely ... and some strange people en-route
hitchiking :)
Thinking now... all my hitchhiking partners and friends I
worked with over the years.... I did keep in touch with a some
of them in Ireland, Rhodesia, USA, Aus and NZ ...not forgetting
Scotland and S Moira ......... until sadly they all passed away.
Only me left nowadays as far as I know ! Help, I will not
sleep tonight now ..... thinking !!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS: S.Moira and I always fancied that train ride across the
Rockies BUT we could not afford it :))))))))))

You have had a life full of adventure and friends, not many
people can say that, so if you are living a so called boring
life now, you have so many great memories to share with us and

YOU are right Darien and I really do not have any reason to moan
as I have had an interesting life .. its just a wee bit quiet
nowadays .. in my old age :)))))))))))))))))))))
