The eye is much better, thank you very much [emoji4] I can see
better out my res now, distance wise at least, I still need
glasses to read anything though. I won't really know until I
have my eyes tested again, but there are times when I take my
glasses off as I see better, distance wise, without them!!

Good that your eye feels better today :) [emoji170]
You sound like me too ..... I need my glasses to read and for
close work ( sewing, computer etc ) but not for distance BUT I
do have a pair that I CAN use for distance / driving ..... but I
can drive without them too !!!!
These new specs I got a few weeks ago ...for close work ... I
do tend to keep them on ...... and forget that I DO still have
       them on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PASS !!!!!
I even drive with them on sometimes !!!!

I just have glasses for reading and close up work, my distance
is ok although my optician said it wasn’t, I think he was just
trying to sell me another pair

I have been wearing glasses for about 45 years, I am
shortsighted, but I was told that I may not need them after
cataract surgery, we will soon see. I will definitely need
reading glasses though, I can't read anything without them these
       days.

MY distance vision is fine in my Right eye ... but I Notice as I
get older it is not as good as it used to be. MY left eye is not
good and has always been imperfect. Maybe I DO need glasses on
all the time BUT according to the optician .... last year .....
I need......... Bifocals ??? And I do not like that idea !
       Pass !!!!!!!!!!
I have been wearing glasses since I was .... in Primary
school... maybe 7/8 years old ? But I packed them in when I was
at boarding school .......except for reading !!!!!!! Then for my
travelling / hitchhiking years I just kept a pair of shop bought
magnifying specs. just in case I might need to read something
       small !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nowadays I Need Special Prescription specs because of my left
       eye !!
It will be interesting to hear if you can see better after the
cataract surgery...... let us know :) IS this your FIRST
cataract surgery or your second ???? [emoji170]

I had the first one done on the 1st July, so now both my eyes
are done. I can see much better now, things aren't blurry and I
honestly see better without my glasses on now!!!!!!
My glasses are Bi-focal, they are great.

MY left eye vision cannot be corrected as it is a birth thing !
       Cannot remember the name !
SO you can manage using bi-focals Darien but you can now see
better without any specs on ??????????? SO can you read also
without specs on now ? [emoji170]
I did get some bifocals in Helensville after we came back to NZ
from Perth but I could not get along with them ...... I got the
lenses changed back to just be used for reading. Maybe it is
time for me to try them again ?????????? I Am sick of wearing
       glasses on and off !!!!!!!!
I was thinking last night how you did have the first cataract
       surgery a while ago. :)
