I will take my puppy to training classes but will also do a lot
of training on my own with her

I used to enjoy training my Borders, they are so easy to teach
and eager to learn, you will enjoy it all. Will it definitely be
a Border Collie that you get then Chris?
No doubt you were thinking of Annie all day yesterday

I’ve noticed border collies have a very wide price range £400 up
to £1200

That is one helluva price range difference!!!!! I assume the
Merles are in the top end price bracket? When I was showing and
breeding, you never saw a merle in the show ring and they
weren't heard of very much, but people are breeding them a lot
these days. Nothing wrong in that as long as you don't breed two
merles together, I don't understand the mechanics of it, but
often you will end up with blind and deaf pups.
