I know she mentioned they were having some work done on the
house and I see her and Paul have been out and about, so at
least we know there is nothing wrong [emoji4]
While I remember, Kylie and Garry popped in yesterday and I
asked Garry to have a look at my laptop, he cleaned it up and
also showed me how to enlarge the font size on the board. On my
laptop I just hold down the command the button and click on the
+ button until I get the size I want, or - to make it smaller,
it works beautifully. On yours, Garry said it should be your
control button. It's worth a try for you and Chris [emoji4]

I will put it on our FB page where she usually is and she can
try it for herself. I can't see why it wouldn't work for her
too. Garry has his uses [emoji4]

I didn't do it yesterday, but hopefully today.
Robert has an appointment this morning with a hand orthopaedic
surgeon to find out if there is anything they can do and to find
out exactly what is wrong with his hand. I hope he can help him.

The surgeon was just a baby, they seem to get younger and
younger these days!!!!! He was lovely though and showed us the
X-Ray pictures, it's definitely arthritis with bone rubbing on
bone that is causing his pain and his inability to use it as
well, the specialist has advised joint replacement, it's fairly
new here in Aus, but they have been doing it in the US and
Europe for about 10 years now.
Robert didn't make the decision while we were there, But we
talked about it and I believe he will be having it done, I hope
so as it will ensure he will be able to work for as long as he
wants to.

Go Robert and I think your hand will be tied up for a while but
after that ......all good :))))))))))))))
PS: I think it was my mate Maureen in Perth ... She had a hand

The specialist is an Aussie, which is unusual these days. I
doubt you know anyone here that has had a hand joint
replacement, it is still very new here, under 12 months
apparently. Of course the larger joint replacements have been
around for years now.
The recovery time is about 6 weeks, 2 weeks bandaged and then 4
weeks in a splint and as I reminded Robert, about the same
amount of time we are away if we go to the UK, so he can't carry
on about it [emoji4]
