Brisbane

Kate and Steve are now in Noosa with his parents, I have had a
few FaceTimes and she seems more relaxed now, Steve has a job in
Brisbane to start Monday so they will have an Airbnb mon-fri
until they can get sorted out with a permanent place, Kate had
an informal interview today and will have a couple more, not
sure when yet, it’s working for shell, she’s not counting her
chickens and taking each day as it comes, she would like the job
but doesn’t want to get her hopes up too much.

Ah so Steve has a job in a school in Brisbane and will they go
back to his parent's house on the weekend ? I hope Kate can get
a decent job to suit her soon and they can get set up in their
own place in Brisbane ... and relax :) (((((((((((((((((((((((((

I hope Kate gets a job soon as she will become isolated on her
own during the week which will not be good for her, she’s ok at
the moment as she likes Brisbane, is used to it and knows her
way round but she’ll soon get fed up on her own while Steve is
at work and that’s when she will become homesick again.

That makes perfect sense and Kate will feel lonely being there
by herself but hopefully she can get out and meet people and as
long as she can chat to people .... she may well find company
and who knows ... maybe a job ? GO Kate :)

I’ve had a chat with her today, Kate is or was a very social
able person, I used to call her the social butterfly but now she
has trouble hearing she struggles with chatting to people, she’s
not as confident as she used to be and that makes me sad, I hate
to see her struggle. Steve has another interview on Wednesday
for a vice principal position to start next term, Kate said it’s
a lot more money, again it would be in Brisbane, she has applied
for a few more jobs today too.

I can understand her losing her confidence over her hearing
loss, but it's so sad too ((((((((((Kate)))))))))) I hope she
finds a job soon to keep her occupied as being on her own all
day will only make her feel worse. She has never had a problem
finding a job before has she? What are her qualifications and
what type of job would she be looking for??

Has Kate got hearing aides to help her hear better ?? I do
remember you mentioning this hearing problem ages ago :(

Wishing her good luck with a local job and hopefully if Steve
gets the Vice Principal job Kate might only have to work part
time to keep herself occupied ? She might get bored too I
suppose :(
