I could never have been a nurse either but Angie was ALWAYS
going to be a nurse from a young age :)
Ange was 69 when she died Sept. 23rd 2020 :(

Same age as David when he passed away and a year after David
too, I thought it was about then. I will admit I have been
thinking of David a lot lately as I am 69 now too and have COPD
the same as he had......silly I know, but our minds do tend to
take over at times.

OM Goodness of course the dates can make you think !!!! BUT we
have to think POSITIVE [emoji170][emoji7] Hard especially if
you cannot sleep ... in my case anyway !!!!
Thinking of all this last night ... I got to thinking how my Dad
and Yar were the only ones who did survive longer than me at my
age so far !!! Dad was 78 and Yar almost 92 :)

My Dad was only 72, Robert and Deb's age and Mum was 80, so not
that old either really. I guess we are getting up there now and
mortality is staring us in the face really, but we can just flip
it off [emoji115][emoji13]

I have my eye specialist appointment this morning to check to
see how my cataract surgery went. I also heard from Wyong Public
hospital that I should have the other eye done in 3 months time,
so not too long a wait.

AH good news and IS your cataract surgery all fine now on the
one eye ? Can you see better ? [emoji170] Not too long to wait
for the other cataract fix either :)

I will reserve judgement on my sight when I get the other one
done as I really don't notice much difference at the moment. All
I will say is that if I cover my left eye and look through my
right, the one that is done, the light is different, hard to
explain really, but they seem to think my sight has improved by
reading the charts I guess. No not too long a wait at all, which
is a good thing. That will make it October, which is when Robert
was planning to go to China, not too sure what to do about that
now.

I Just did that without my glasses on ... covered my left eye
.. my bad eye BUT strangely I could not see very well out of my
GOOD right eye !!!! HELP I KNOW something is not right and I am
blaming the scratched lenses of my glasses !!!!!!!!!!!! OK with
the glasses ON apart from the scratches ! Bugger ! I think I am
deteriorating rapidly in my old age !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I
cannot walk properly and now I am having trouble with my eye
sight !! I DO tend to keep my glasses on even when I am not
reading or on the computer !!!!!!!!!!!
Hmmm October ?? Maybe time will tell ?

When you think about how much work our eyes do over all the
years, they must get tired and it is inevitable that they
deteriorate over time. All we can really do is try and keep
healthy and enjoy life while we still have it and love like
there is no tomorrow [emoji171]
Robert wanted to go at the beginning of October as Adele and
Lisa will be away at the end of the month, so we will see what
happens.
