I received a FaceTime call from Em last night, her and Roshan
have rented a house in Townsville and they picked the keys up on
Friday. It's a lovely place, all freshly painted and renovated
so it's like a new home. Em walked me through, it's a three
bedroom, one bathroom home and they have bought all new
furniture as the army supply everything when living in barracks.
Her new lounge room is twice the size of the room she was living
in [emoji4]
Em has also bought 2 kittens, sisters, from the pound and has
put her name down at a registered breeders place for a Golden
Retriever, the pups are due soon. They are both very happy and
love living in Townsville.

OH lovely and wonderful news :))))))))))) I Am so pleased to
read this for Emma and Roshan [emoji7] SO is Emma still in the
Army .. working ?

I remember how the Army in UK supplied John and I with all
furniture and stuff when we got an 'Army house'... not a Private
Rental ... and the same with the RAF when I was a kid
:))))))))))) But in this case do Emma and Roshan had to supply
and furnish their rental themselves ?
I would LOVE to see pics of the rented house in Townsville if I
can ???? Thinking .... I suppose if it was FaceTime you do not
have any links so maybe one day :)

How lovely, not only a lovely new home but pets as well, it’s
sounding wonderful to me, I hope they will be very happy there.

If Roshan and Em were married they would have been supplied an
army house, but they decided to rent outside the base and the
army pays some of the rent, but not the furnishings.
I believe Kylie had some photos, I will ask her to send me the
link so I can pass it on to you if she still has it.
I am sure they will be happy, they certainly seem very happy
with each other [emoji7]

I will ask Kylie today if she still has the site.
I don't know if I told you, but I don't believe I have, Kylie
was made redundant last Friday. She is not too upset about it as
she just about had enough any way and was going to hand in her
notice soon enough, but she was hoping to have a new job to go
to first. She is thinking of just going part time now in her
next one.

Well that does sound like Kylie :))))))))) She likes a change of
jobs and nothing wrong with that in her situation

Kylie certainly has had a few jobs recently, hasn't she? All to
do with insurance brokers though and apparently that is a 'small
incestuous world' as David used to say. No she doesn't get any
redundancy money as she hasn't been there for long. She doesn't
need to work as Garry earns a good wage, but she likes the extra
money and she is used to it now.

Yes, from what you tell us Kylie has had a few jobs ....or at
least different employers :) You have told us that her jobs are
more of an occupation for Kylie to keep her busy :)

I suppose there is no one at home nowadays except Garry so she
does need something to do :)

Liam and Chloe are still living at home, Kylie is hoping that
will change next year when Liam fully graduates from Uni. He is
working at a local High School, but it's not a permanent
position at the moment, it's more a fill in when a teacher is
ill, but hopefully it will become more than that once he has
graduated. Once that has happened they should be able to move
out and Chloe can then start her Uni course and become a vet.
Kylie enjoys her work, but she does prefer to work from home a
few days a week and most jobs allow that these days.
