He took himself off to the shop in my car when he was down here
prepping dinner ......because I did NOT Have the right stuff
here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is the tiny kitchen area in the studio BUT He says the
cooker does not work ..... the cook top was good and the oven at
the side was always working and I Know DAN used it a few times
as it is better that THEIR own oven at the big house ! I was
thinking of pinching it the other day to use it here ..... BUT
It is a built in one !
He just sleeps in the studio basically ... and it is freezing,
he says !

Ah, that explains him using your car then in that case, closer
at hand and all that. It seems Matt just likes to mess your
place up as he knows you will clean it up.....we have never
thought him dumb [emoji23]
Do you know what is wrong with your oven? It shouldn't have
broken down as it isn't as old as mine and mine works just
fine..........touch wood as I say that!!!!!!

Well he did take my car to Hawera to pickup the oven..........as
it fits in the back ... and he and John have fitted the oven
back into place and it works now. From what I can see it has a
new... Turn ON and temperature Knob on the front !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And the New Knob sticks out more than the other two knobs ! But
it works !
I think Matt was messing / fiddling about with the knobs the
other week when he was cooking dinner !!!!!!

Did Matt take the oven somewhere to be repaired then? You never
mentioned it, but I am glad it's all sorted now and working for
you. Remind me, is your oven gas or electric?

I am sure I did tell you how Corey next door told us to take the
oven to his brother's electrical shop in Hawera ? So that is
what Matt did last week ! IT worked fine today thank goodness
:)

The oven is electric but the top of the cooker is gas from a
bottle outside ......!

Oh yes, I remember now that I see it again [emoji4] At least it
is done and working again and it was easily fixed. Did it cost
much?
I thought the oven was electric, but I knew you had a gas bottle
attached too. I haven't had a gas stove for over 35 years now, I
am so used to electric now.

All up it cost $174.00!!! Bloody robbery as I think it was the
Temperature Knob !!!!! PASS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have never had a totally gas cooker until we lived in Maghull,
Liverpool and I never did like it !!!! IT was not bottle gas
but gas coming through the pipes ????? All the local houses had
it ..... plus electric for lights and stuff ! You got a Gas
bill and an Electric bill monthly !!! That was 40 years ago
come August ..... when we left UK to come to NZ
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheaper than buying a new oven though!!! At least you have it
fixed now.
While you were making such a big move, 5 years after you left
the UK, I moved up here to the coast in February and in the
August bought this house........and the rest, as they say, is
history.
It seems so odd to think I didn't know you back then, it seems
like we have known each other forever to me [emoji171]

Yes the oven works now !! But it was a pricy new knob ! I Still
blame Matt for his bad temper when cooking and using the oven
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So we lived in Marton back then then and it was not until 5 plus
years later when we moved down to Dunedin that we connected
...... on the Meno support group once I learned to use my new
and first computer :)))))))))))))))))
I do also agree and I feel as if I have known you for many, many
years :)))))))))))))))))))))
Thinking back apart from my Liverpool mate Barb. ( who does not
go on the computer and her daughter has not said anything about
her lately !!!!) and my old Convent school mate Lesley in Cyprus
who does come on FB now and again ...... plus one or two other
old girls from school ...I would say I know you better than any
of them :)))))))))))) Definitely better than any living rellie
too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [emoji170]
