Cairns update

Kate and Steve have flights booked to return to Australia on
Friday, I hate the idea of saying farewell but know right now
it’s for the best. They Will fly in Adelaide and spend a couple
of nights there, pick their car up and drive to Brisbane which
will take a few days, spend a couple of days there and then head
to Noosa and stay with Steve’s parents while they sort
themselves out, they have decided against Cairns and Steve has
turned the job down, they will get jobs in Brisbane and stop
there for a while until they decide their next move, I’m much
happier knowing that they are not going to cairns and both Steve
and Kate look a lot happier about it too, so far they have plans
to come back here for Christmas and maybe after Christmas head
to NSW and then finally back to the uk but who knows what will
happen.

AH well they have had a lovely holiday and lots of lovely trips
around Europe and Wales etc etc etc :))))))))))))))))))) SO
perhaps it IS time they went back to work somewhere :)
IT will be a long drive to get back up to Noosa then down to
Brisbane but Annie ( Mortgage banker ) loves it on the gold
Coast and I am sure they will too :) What bank does Steve use
and does he need a mortgage ???????????? [emoji15][emoji12]
Annie works from home in Bilinga :)
Maybe you and Paul could go visit next time and also visit
Darien :)))))))))) Think positive :)))))))))))

Why did Steve turn the job down In Cairns? Why would you be
happier about them not going there?
You will be sad to see them go after all this time, I just hope
whatever they chose to do next, they will both be happy.

I don’t know I just didn’t feel it was right for them, I’m and
they are happier to go to Brisbane, I’m now more worried about
the trouble in the Middle East and the fact that they are flying
through Doha, it’s a worry, they don’t think they will have any
trouble securing jobs in Queensland and yes if they are still
there next year I hope we can visit.

ME too Chris re: flights ........... Bonnie and kids are flying
here from Abu Dhabi at the end of this week ( Sunday ) and I am
feeling a bit concerned about the troubles in Iran etc etc. They
are booked from Abu Dhabi direct / NON stop ... to Melbourne so
hopefully it will be safe and OK !!!!! Then Melbourne to
Auckland. Phew ! IT IS a bit of a worry ! Which way will Steve
and Kate fly ???? [emoji178] Just looked up Doha !!!!!!!!!!!!!
NB: Doha’s Hamad International Airport closed for around eight
hours from Monday evening to the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Methinks IT is not the best place to visit even if you are on a
plane ATM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sending love :)
Forward Thinking :) :) IF they do get jobs in Queensland AND
Annie and Richie are still there maybe we can ALL meet up ? What
a super idea... eh Darien :))))))))))))))))

I am sure they will both get a job in or around Brisbane. Remind
me again what does Kate do?
Please don't worry about your children and flying at the moment,
remember that there is always fighting in the middle east and
planes don't fly over war ravaged countries, nor will they land
there. ((((((((((((((((((((Chris and Moira))))))))))))))))))))
It would be a lovely idea for Kate, Steve, Annie and Richie to
meet up [emoji171][emoji178]

I am living in a field !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bonnie and kids all
fly out tomorrow NIGHT Friday 27th June .. Abu Dhabi time !!!!!
They are 8 hours behind us here in NZ. So they fly out of AD at
8:30 PM on Friday evening so here it will be 04:30 am 28th early
Saturday morning !! And they arrive in Melbourne 28th June at
15:35 in the afternoon of Saturday 28th. Then they fly to
Auckland at 18:55 Aussie time ???? AND arrive in Auckland at
Half past Midnight 29th June !
Phew does that sound right ???????????????? Luckily I think
Penny or Perry will pick them up :)
At least I have not been reading any bombing or stuff today
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO Pass :)
I was thinking the same thing...imagine how amazing it would be
if Annie and Kate etc did meet up :) Small World eh ?????

The only time you need concern yourself with is when they arrive
back in NZ and that is so close now, you must be getting so
excited now ((((((((((((((((((((Moira))))))))))))))))))))
It is indeed a small world and it seems getting smaller each
year.

According to Bonnie a few minutes ago the kids were getting so
excited !!!! :)))))))))))))))) Auckland airport has been closed
temporarily due to the wild weather but hopefully it will be
open shortly as it seems to have settled a wee bit. !!
