I’ve not been here chatting, I’m just not good company right
now, the thought of Kate and Steve having to go back to
Australia when I know they don’t really want to is just making
me more and more miserable and it’s hard trying to put a happy
face on for them and reassuring them it will all be ok. They
went to stay overnight in Llanberis last night so they could
climb Snowdon today, which they have done, they come back here
later today and I know next time they leave it will be to head
to Cairns, I know we will be ok and will get over it, maybe they
shouldn’t have stayed so long 😉

Oh ((((((((((((((((((((Chris)))))))))))))))))))) It must be so
hard when you have been so looking forward to having them stay
on for so much longer and I just don't understand why they are
unable to!!!!!!! I am hoping that when they do get back here,
they are able to sort something out with your new immigration
laws, perhaps Steve needs to change his religion or
colour!!!!!!!!!!

I ditto what Darien is saying too :) ... and I cannot
understand why they cannot stay for longer and why Steve cannot
get a job !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Plan your next trip to Aussie to visit them in maybe Cairns this
time :) ..... [emoji178]
I saw the lovely photos of Snowdon ... Phew :) Good experience
for them :) They have some lovely photos :)

I’ve had a good chat with Kate, in order for Steve to teach in
NSW he needs to register there and get a police check, he has
them for Queensland and SA but he has to actually go in person
to get this done in NSW so the plan now is to fly into Adelaide,
pick the car up, pop over the border into NSW put application in
for him to register, then head to Noosa, a long drive with stop
overs, stay with his parents for a few nights then drive in to
cairns, his job starts on July 14th, Kate has applied for a few
but not heard anything yet.
Then stay in Cairns until December, plan A come back here for 2
weeks over Christmas then hopefully they will have secured jobs
in NSW and sorted a house out, have a year or two there and then
come to the uk or plan B Kate gets a job here, Steve puts his
application in, they will only have to be apart for one month,
it’s still all a bit up in the air, and they have not yet booked
flights back!

It's all very complicated for them and so many hoops to jump
through!!! Does Steve have a temporary teaching job in Cairns or
is it something else? Forgive me if you have already mentioned
it.

Yes Steve has a teaching job in Cairns to start on July 14th

OH Help... it is all so complicated ............. It seems you
have to register in every Aussie state !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least Steve does have a job to go to in Cairns and they can
take it from there ... and save their money to go back to UK for
Christmas ;)))))))))))))))))))))) !!!!!! I Am sure Kate will
find something to do :)
