Hang on, am I going mad?? Did you have a stent put in??????????
Why can't I remember that as it's such a big thing to have
really??!!!!!!! You haven't had any heart problems or heart
attack, have you?
Why don't you like the Naproxen?

Yes I did have a Stent in Perth ... it was in early 2017 ???
before I came back here to NZ !
I did have heart palpitations now and again on and off ... ever
since Meno when they were worse actualleh and one time it got so
bad I insisted on seeing a heart specialist. !!!! Turns out I
had a slight blockage in one artery ...( same as My Dad and it
killed him in the end !) WE DID have Medical Insurance !
OK I looked up my notes....Septal Aneurysm June 2017.....
Coronary Artery Stent. DR John Tan 05/07/2017 !!!!
NAPROXEN : Warnings:
You should not use naproxen if you have a history of allergic
reaction to aspirin or other NSAID (nonsteroidal
anti-inflammatory drug).
Naproxen can increase your risk of fatal heart attack or stroke,
especially if you use it long term or take high doses, or if you
have heart disease. Even people without heart disease or risk
factors could have a stroke or heart attack while taking this
medicine.
NOT thinking about it any more ......it is depressing
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PASS :)))))))))))))))))))))))))

I honestly don't recall you having had a stent put in!!!!! I
remember you having an angiogram done years ago, so that must
have been when you had the stent put in. I looked up Septal
Aneurysm as I have never heard of it and this is what I found;
An atrial septal aneurysm is a congenital (present at birth)
anomaly of your heart. When present, it means there's extra
tissue in the wall that separates the two upper chambers (atria)
of your heart. Sometimes, this extra tissue is visible on an
echocardiogram.
If you don't feel comfortable taking Naproxen, then don't. There
are other anti-inflammatories you can take, some of them you can
get over the counter.

It was probably after the Aneurism that I found I needed a
Stent. :)
MY Dad had and also died of heart problems as did my youngest
sister Cath :( I think it is a Paternal FOLEY problem as I see
looking back, that lots of my Dad's family had or died from
heart problems !!!!!!!!!!! IN fact out of 8 Foley girls and one
male ( My dad ) I now have one cousin in Ireland ... 2 years
older than me .... still alive and I am the next one in line
still living !!!!
PS: I DO know I have talked of this before too
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes we have talked about your family history of heart disease, I
have a similar history on my Dad's side. It's certainly
something to be aware of and keep a close eye on as we age,
thankfully there are more and more things that can be done to
prevent many heart diseases these days.
You don't have a Cardiologist, do you? I had a phone call from
my cardiologist last week letting me know that I have upcoming
appointment in August and that my cardiologist is leaving the
practice!!!!!!! Robert sees his one in the same practice, so
I'll get a referral for him instead now.

Unfortunately No I don't have a particular Cardiologist here but
I supposed if I had lived in the same place for many
years............... I would have one :)
Its a good idea if you can share Robert's Cardio as they will
have all your notes etc right there and knowing Robert they will
surely know you too :):)

Where would you have to go to see any specialists where you are?
Would you have to travel a fair distance? I used to have to go
down to the southern end of the coast for a specialist, but
fortunately, we now have them up our end.
Thankfully Robert's cardio is in the same practice, so at least
they will have all my notes etc.
It's the same with my lung specialist, as he is retiring and my
last appointment with him is in November, I have had to find
another one [emoji19]

I would have to go to Whanganui or maybe Hawera to see a
Cardiologist I am sure. They are the nearest hospitals anyway !
Half an hour drive North or South !!!!
Having moved so much over my lifetime..... I cannot ever
remember having any regular specialist for anything really. !!!
