Please moan all you like my friend as it does help us I am sure
plus we can share all the pain ... in our own way
       [emoji170][emoji171][emoji178]
Most likely it was all the poking about done by the doctor and
it set off all the pain and swelling !!!!! Been there and had
       that done too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope the extra Prednisone works for you:) And the hot and cold
       packs !!!!!!!!!
       ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Darien))))))))))))))))))))))))
       )))))))))
I don't think the cold helps any with my knee either as it is
back to being really sore again today so ON with leg elastic
cover thing ! SO I am hobbling around and did not bother going
       shopping as planned !!!!!

Sometimes it seems all I ever do is moan!!!!
Is your sore knee the one you had a lump on? Or is it the old
injury you had when you hurt it in Perth? You should have it
seen to again either way ((((((((((Moira))))))))))

NO my sore knee NOW is NOT the one with the lump at the back of
my Right knee ! YOU DO have a good memory
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That lump is very small now, still there
but not doing anything so far !!!!!!!!!!!!
This left knee is the old Perth injury from the trip up and slip
in the wet trolley area in Woolies ? .... but ALSO going back
even further IS the FIRST injury and knee reconstruction I had
in NZ when I Played leap frog with the teachers in the kids
sports in Marton 1995 ish ???????? That was the beginning of the
       knee problems !

Then it's definitely time you had your knee checked out again,
there may be something they can do to help ease the pain. Make
an appointment with your Dr ASAP!!!!!
My pain is no better, even after 2 days of 50mgs of prednisone,
it does seem to be taking a long time, but I read that it can
also take a long time to heal. I see my Dr again on Monday and I
hope he will have some answers for me, but I am not holding my
       breath!!!!!! I found this [emoji20]
Mildly pinched nerves often resolve on their own with at-home
care, like rest. Moderately pinched nerves may need some medical
care, like physical therapy or corticosteroids. Severely pinched
nerves — including those that result from chronic conditions
like spinal stenosis — may be long-lasting.
I have spinal stenosis, a long with a few other things wrong and
they found even more problems on my last scan.

" Pinched nerve " that is making me think when and if I HAD One
at one time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PASS ! IT is familiar !
Is Prednisone supposed to work fairly quickly ? Hopefully on
Monday your Dr. can figure it all out for you ............ and
       help with the pain !
       ((((((((((((((((((((((Darien)))))))))))))))))))))
If I need a GP appt. I will have to wait ages for an appt. here
.. or turn up on Monday limping and pleading agony ..... or go
to the Whanganui clinic and plead pain !!!!! I Am still limping
and still wearing the knee brace thing. It did seem better the
other day then today it was painful again so I Had to take a
Naproxen this arvo and went to bed with a hottie and fell asleep
:) .. MUST be the weather !!!!!!!!!!!! Rain, wild winds and cold
       !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The cold weather is not good for many forms of arthritis and is
no doubt why your knee is so sore ((((((((((Moira))))))))))
It's the same here, it can take up to two weeks to get an
appointment with my Dr, that doesn't help matters at all.
Pinched nerves are very common and that's what sciatica pain is
and why it travels down the whole leg, the sciatic nerve runs
the length of your leg I believe. I found these images.

Yes I HAVE looked it up before and I have seen those awful
pictures of the Sciatic nerve and it was probably when you have
talked about it before :( [emoji170]
I also think it was this time last year when I had arthritis
pain like now ! I Keep saying I will look back then forget to
       do it !

I go down to my normal maintenance dose of 5mgs prednisone
tomorrow and I am dreading it as the pain has eased a little bit
now the high doses have kicked in, hopefully physio will help as
I am over it, it's been 3 weeks of bad pain now.
I am going down to a dress shop I like this morning to get some
more warm jumpers as I am feeling the cold again this year and I
haven't bought any new warm clothes for quite a while. We are
going away in 2 weeks up to the Blue Mountains with Kylie and
Garry for her 50th birthday and it will be very cold up there.
We are staying in an old iconic hotel called the Hyrdo Majestic,
it should be lovely and maybe even some snow!!!!!!
Hopefully I will be able to walk around much better by then!!!!!
