I don't have horrible nightmares often, thank goodness, but I
often have 'active' dreams where Robert has to wake me up.
It's quite common for dogs to snore, Hugo used to snore quite a
bit. Also as dogs get older they sleep much more heavily and
their soft palate relaxes more, causing the snoring. Juno
doesn't seem to be breathing heavier, does she? If not, I
wouldn't worry too much about it, she is a senior citizen too

Gosh Yes Juno is the oldest of the 3 dogs ... not that I can
hear the other two at night as they sleep up in the big house
and do not seem to sleep much during the day here ... they do
lay out on the rugs on the patio but not sleeping. Juno can
snore during the day too but not as loud as she was the other
night !!!!!
NO I cannot say Juno is breathing heavily at all...
:))))))))))))) She still runs and barks when any strangers come
down the driveway ! As do Maggie and Baz.

They say dogs and cats sleep 60% of their time, usually with one
ear alert to danger, and I certainly believe it after having so
many dogs!!!!! I am sure Juno is fine, but if you are concerned,
the vet can check her over.
Does Matt come back most weekends to visit, or is it only
occasionally? How is his new job going?

Juno is definitely alert even when she is sleeping !!! If one of
the dogs outside barks... she is up in a flash to go see why
:)))))))
NO Matt has not been back here for a couple of weeks and will be
back... not this weekend but the next ... he does not have a
car so it is the bus and a bit of a hassle especially if I have
to take him back to PN to go back to Napier ...3 + hours bus
travel and 1 hour drive to PN ... each way for me ! PASS !
He has a cold and when Matt has a cold he is such a moaner BUT
He said tonight he got some meds. from the chemist and is
feeling a bit better !!! He is enjoying his job and it is giving
him a lot of exercise .... he says !! He does a lot of driving
and even physical road works stuff I understand !

My dogs were the same, just when you thought they were dead to
the world asleep, a noise would have them instantly alert
[emoji2]
I'm glad Matt is enjoying working again, it's exactly what he
needed. Shame he has a cold though, but at least you don't have
to listen to him moaning away and that is a blessing!!
An hours long journey both ways is a pain!!!!!

I’m really pleased to hear Matt is happy and enjoying his work,
it’s what he needed, it must be hard for you though having to
look after 3 dogs especially as they are not actually yours! I’m
still wanting a spaniel….watch this space

is open..... and of course Juno Lives in here !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bloody dog hairs all over the place !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At least they do not need to be taken for daily walks as they
roam the fields behind us !!!!!!!!!!!

You love Juno, so don't pretend you don't like her being in the
house [emoji7] You, Moira Casey, are a sucker [emoji23]
Have you been looking for dogs Chris? Do you want a puppy or an
older dog that is already house trained? Please don't buy an
'oodle' pup from a so called breeder, there is no such thing as
a carefully bred oodle as none of the DNA tests that registered
breeders must do to rule out ill health have been done. That's
why so very many of them end up in rescue and pounds.
