Cairns

We go down to stay in Sydney tonight near the airport as we have
an early flight to catch on Saturday morning. I will be taking
my iPad once again so I can pop in here to chat with you and
keep you company, but I don't think I will get a chance tomorrow
morning before we fly out. If not, I will pop in when we arrive
in Cairns and are in our hotel.

Yes I did remember that you were going to stay in Sydney for the
night so you can get the early flight to Cairns. Have an early
night and a safe flight :) I would love to see photos of
Cairns and the area around :)
Many years ago there was a psych nurse job up going there ...
for John ..... and I quite fancied the area for a change of
scenery from Perth ... but dreams are free and I doubt I could
actualleh cope with the heat and humidity up there :) Pass but
enjoy the change of scenery :) [emoji170]

Saw your lovely comfy looking hotel and the surroundings. Looks
a nice place to relax so enjoy :))))))))))))))

Bugger another early night :) Anyway it is raining and blowing
again so maybe another early night is a comfort :) I did not get
up this morning till after 10am as it was belting down !!!!!!!!

Cairns is quite a nice city and this time of year the weather is
good, not too hot at all. I’ll put some photos up of the lovely
park area, I haven’t taken many photos really. I just tend to
wander around and people watch…………which reminds me, last night
while walking back through the park to the hotel there was a
group of four young people, early 20s say, who were passing
around a joint 😂

Hahaha yes it is lovely to have something to read and something
to think about when I do get into bed :))))))))))))))))))))
Hahaha ... did you watch the young people sharing the joint ?
Not SO long ago that had been quite a common thing but you never
read or hear about it nowadays !

I will admit I was surprised about how openly they were doing
it, but it is still a very popular thing to do, even if we don’t
see it as often 😊

I Am surprised to read that ... I cannot say I have seen anyone
doing it ... for many years... NOT That I DO GO anywhere

Most people smoke it secretly as I believe it's still illegal to
possess any, I know you can lose your drivers license if you
have it in your saliva whilst driving.

I wonder if it is the same here .... if you get breathe tested
while driving or whatever !
