NO Electricity or Water last night !!!! Dark and freezing cold
too !!! Electricity went off about 7pm so I got out my lovely
candles to have a bit of light ... and I did manage to colour in
for a while till I got too cold ! I used water in the kettle and
a bit from the dog's bucket ..... to heat up in a pan on the top
of the stove .... Gas was working so I had a hottie and went to
bed in my socks and woolly pjs to keep warm !!
Matt and John spent ages on the deck trying to work the ?
machine that Dan once used to connect electricity IF it ever
went off BUT they could not make it work and the air was foul
!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They sat outside in the cold until midnight when
the electricity did come back on ! Thankfully they only had half
a dozen beers between them :)))))))))
All good today with the sun shining but IT Is cold :)

I am thankful to hear that is all that was wrong, I was a bit
worried. I remember when that happened before, not all that long
ago either and Dan sorted it out, perhaps they should ask Dan
next time you talk to him incase it happens again.

Yes I was thinking last night how Dan had used the ' machine '
to connect to the electrics and the water one time when there
was a Cut off !!!!! I told Matt today so he will ask Dan !
IN the meantime it seems that Dan ... ( or Bonnie ....says Matt)
has cut off the internet to the big house !!! He is not happy.
Lucky for us we have a separate set up because we could not
connect sharing Dan's internet when we first moved to the Granny
flat !!! Phew :)
Sorry I could not connect to you to tell you .... useless phone
!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't say as I blame Dan, or Bonnie, for cutting of the
internet, it's dead money to them really and they no doubt
realised it wouldn't effect ( should that be affect?) you as you
have your own modem etc.

Well Matt is not happy as his phone and the TV stuff works on
the Wifi too ! I think he is definitely going East on Sunday
now to work as he did get a phone call today !

Perhaps that is the reasoning behind Dan cutting off the
internet [emoji848] How will Matt get to the East, he doesn't
have a car anymore, does he??

Of course the internet IS dead money to Dan.... but what happens
when Bonnie and kids come back for 2 months ???
Matt has looked to see if there is a car hire firm needing a car
to GO back over East from around her.... but no luck so it looks
like we will take him !~ 3 hours there and 3 hours back. It
would be fine if we could stay overnight and enjoy the trip to
Napier BUT what about the dogs here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PASS !

When Bonnie and the kids come, the internet can then be restored
for a while, it's easy enough to do [emoji4]
Can matt not just hire a car to take him? That would solve your
problem, I know he doesn't have any money, but you could pay iy
it for him for now and he could pay you back. Much easier
solution.

I think I Have solved the problem... he can get a bus from PN to
Hastings :) I can take him to PN and go shopping in KMart :)
Matt says Fine :) Its almost an hour to PN but better shops and
its 3 hours by Bus to Hastings :) Best idea yet :) $51.00 :)
To hire a car was expensive even if we did pay for it ! NO hire
cars around here anyway he would have to go to Whanganui or
Probably PN !
