Oh goodness but that is good of the Army to pay for a specialist
to operate on Em's problem ... is that normal for the Army to do
that ? Good on them I say and surely Emma could have a
different type of Army job rather than marching and stuff ?

I believe that all the fitness etc has caused the problem, so it
then becomes an army problem as well to fix. I have thought that
myself, about something else she could do within the army and I
believe it has a lot to do with if they need her to be deployed
during a time of war, she would be unfit to go. Em seems to be
resigned to the fact, but I do wonder how she will be when it
actually happens and she has to leave.

AH yes of course that does make sense and also the Army idea
..... and the Ability to be able to GO to war if needed. Load of
rubbish nowadays of course BUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You do have to wonder what she will want to do when she does
have to leave... and will she leave Roshan ?????

One never knows when and where there will be a war that the army
will need to be deployed to, there are always wars [emoji22] Em
is still thinking of going into medicine when she is medically
discharged. I don't believe she will leave Roshan, they will
work it out and there is still time for them both.

Go Emma and it all sounds good with Roshan then and serious :)
Australia does not get really involved in many wars in the world
nowadays :)

I don't believe Roshan called in to see Kylie and Garry
yesterday as I didn't get a message or anything, shame though as
I would liked to have seen him again. We will no doubt go up to
see them again later in the year, not that I like Townsville at
all.....not a nice place, at least I didn't think so when we
went there many years ago.
Australia has troops stationed all over the middle east and
other places as well.

Really ? I did not know that Aussie troops were all over the
Middle East nowadays but I suppose it does make sense as the
English Forces were all over the world ... when my Dad was in
the RAF back in the olden days :))))))
I always fancied Townsville as I have read a few books based
there over the years :)
The Fire / Emergency Siren is going once again .... similar to
the other night abo this time too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Townsville is full of the army and aborigines, not a lot else to
see really. They do have a beautiful walkway along the seafront
though with a huge free water park for kids and a pool that the
stingers, crocs and sharks can't get into.
Remind me again what the Fire/Emergency siren is for?

OH so maybe I would not really like Townsville then IF I did
ever get to visit :))))))))))))
The fire siren was for an ambulance apparently, somebody sick
but thats all I have heard :( If it goes here local people put
it up on the Waverley FB page find out what it is for !!!!!

Well you might like it, I certainly didn't!!! I heard from Em on
Saturday, her and Roshan made it safely up there.
Oh so it was just a siren you heard then, I thought you meant
some sort of warning siren.
