Don't forget I won't be on here tomorrow, unless I get a chance
later in the day after we arrive in Melbourne. I believe we are
meeting up with Emma and Roshan tomorrow and have a free day on
Tuesday and then the march out parade on Wednesday.

I'm happy to hear your peace is back, long may it last.
It was a lovely time away, we had breakfast with Em and Roshan
on the Monday we arrived and they went back to their barracks to
pack up as they leave for Townsville Qld on Monday. We met up
with them again for tea that night and didn't see them again
until the March out on Wednesday. Thankfully the weather was
lovely and it was quite emotional to see my beautiful
granddaughter achieving so much and looking so grown up, now she
will be even further away!!!!!!!
Kylie and I went over to the shopping centre on the Tuesday, I
wanted a jacket to wear with the outfit I was wearing to the
march out. I bought a nice one and Kylie bought herself a lovely
pair of earrings. We found a cafe to have a tea and it was the
best cuppa I have had for quite a while!!!! We then walked all
the way back and when we arrived back at the hotel Liam and
Chloe had arrived and Garry had finished his morning work
meeting. I left them to it and went up to my room to have a
rest. I opted not to walk backer to the shopping centre for tea
and had mine at the restaurant at the hotel and a quieter night.
I went to bed about 8.15 last night and didn't get up again
until 7.50am!!!!!

Ah it sounds like a lovely few days and lots of different things
happening for you :) So what will Em and Roshan do in Townsville
? Is that where Roshan lives ??? MY memory is rubbish !
I saw the photos of EM and she did look really grown up and
gorgeous and so very tall :))) Saw the photo of you in your
March Out clothes ... lovely and my kind of outfit.... comfy
looking :) Nice that Liam and Chloe arrived too :)
Having an early night is MY kind of thing too so I am glad you
enjoyed it :))))))))))))))))))))))))
Errrrr 07:50 is early ....... but I suppose being in a 'foreign
bed' !!!!!!!!! I don't normally get up until close to 9am
nowadays ..... because I don't HAVE to, especially if it is cold
outside or it feels cold !!!!!!!

Roshan comes from Melbourne, his family also live there.
Townsville is where they are being deployed to, they are both in
the Signalling Corp so they will be together, at least for as
long as Em is in the army.
The Royal Australian Corps of Signals was officially formed on
14 February 1925, creating a group of technical specialists who
provide communications, electronic warfare and cyber
capabilities support for the Australian Defence Force (ADF)'s
operations around the world.

AH so Em can still stay in the Signalling Corps ? I thought
there was something in her medical history that said she had to
leave ???? Pass :)
Saw the pics of them both Passing out and I still cannot get
over how TALL Em is... and how smart she looks in her uniform :)

Yes, Em will be medically discharged from the army due to her
compartmental syndrome and some other artery problem in her leg
as well, just not yet which is why she is also being deployed to
Townsville. They both chose Townsville, goodness knows why!!!!!
Yes I met Roshan's mum and her partner, as well as an aunt,
uncle and his dear grandfather, lovely people.

Ah yes, thats it ..... an odd type of Syndrome .... does it not
bother her at the moment ???
Good to know that Roshan has a lovely family :))))))))))

It is always there and prevents her from marching and field
activities. The army is paying to have it operated on again via
a private specialist, one recommended by Roberts cousin Matt. It
won't make her fit enough for the army, but it will help her
through a normal life.
Yes I am sure I have mentioned Roshan's family and how they took
Em under their wing before, they are very nice.
