I have my last appt. at the Fracture Clinic this morning at
11.30am and I am hope all is well and the stress fracture has
healed and I can go without the boot. I have another Xray done
before I see the specialist this morning. It's been 9.5 weeks
since my op and 2.5 years since my fracture, so fingers crossed
it is finally mended!!!!!

mention the pain !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

demand attention, good books and food :))))))))))
Hahaha I would not get away with it but dreams are free :)

My foot is still a bit swollen as are the toes, but they will
start to go down now.....I hope!!! I am going to drive the car
today, for the first time since January, as I need to go to the
chemist to get some scripts.
I haven't had much pain at all really through all this time,
unless I walked around too much and the pain would be in my hip
and back because of the way I had to walk. My lower back and hip
are still a bit sore, but they should come right now. I have
just had the usual arthritic pain from not moving around very
much.

That I can understand and it does make sense if you have not
been moving normally for so long that of course your other
...unused joints will be asleep / unused and need movement.
Perfectly normal :)
I do hope your lower back and hip pain is minor and will come
right if you do keep on walking around
(((((((((((((((((((Darien)))))))))))))))))))))) Walk upright and
no slouching :)

Unfortunately it's hard for me to stand upright these days, I
tend to slouch to ease the pain in my upper back. I have
Stenosis of the spine and hyperkyphosis, also known as Dowagers
Hump. My bones really are very bad, sadly. But I do try and
stand straight and will continue to keep on trying [emoji4]
I am sure now that I am walking normally, the hip pain will ease
a bit.

Bugger I read about Dowagers Hump ..... and I have heard of it
so it makes me Sit UP Straight !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do also think we have mentioned this before as it is familiar
to me so do keep on trying and hopefully your hip pain will get
better after you have been walking more normally :) [emoji170]

No doubt we have spoken about it before and fairly recently as
my last set of X-rays showed it up, even though I knew it before
as it's getting quite noticeable now.
My hip and lower back pain is a lot better now that I am walking
evenly again.
