From Annie tonight :(
My fibroids have grown 😭
Ones the size of golf balls and the other 3 aren’t far off. Not
good .. they need to go away but they feed off the pregnancy
hormones and appears to have grown since my last scan. Its a bit
of a worry.
Can’t do anything apparently.. but monitor and hope for the best
😢
Had catch up with OB and he said also it’s why my tummy looks
further along than what I am ......Anterior Intramural fibroids
!
Yes I’m trying to be positive but I feel sad cause we’ve come
this far .. the dr wasn’t too worried about them initially but
seems to be a bit more this time .. idk he said maybe 10% chance
of losing the baby .. but I can’t really relax now x
Asking for prayers that all goes well for Richie and Annie :)

Richie)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) I will most certainly say
prayers for them both, several Hail Mary's. I know very little
about fibroids and pregnancy, but if the Dr is giving a 10%
chance of losing her precious girl, then she still has 90%
chance of keeping her [emoji7]

Thank you :) That is almost exactly what I told her last night
and I also told her about my carry on giving birth to Matt.....
she did not know about that...... or did not remember !!!!!!!
I was Placenta Previa and in hospital on my back in bed for 4
weeks till Matt became a Ceasarian birth at 37 weeks and an
almost live or die process. !
Think Positive :)

They can do so much more these days to prevent most problems, so
I am sure she will be fine. Annie may need a Ceasarian birth
herself.

That is also exactly what I told Annie ... maybe a Ceasarian but
then she is not young even if she is fit and lots of older first
time Mums do end up with Ceasarians from what I read !

I don't know if older mums need a Ceasarian, but I have never
looked it up, have had no need to really.

OF course you did not need to know about OLDER mums :) BUT It is
something I knew from way back being considered an OLDER Mum
having Matt :) Even IF I was only 35 when I Had him BUT BACK In
those days 35 was OLD to have a 4th baby
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now it is more up to date medical knowledge !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Elsie was an older Mum when she had Keith, she was 38!! No
problems with that pregnancy as far as I know. With all the
knowledge they have theses days, Annie and her precious baby

but you know she will be ok and so will her precious little
girl, the doctors are being cautious and they will keep a
special eye on her pregnancy and intervene if necessary,when is
the baby due?

medical opinions help me to sleep at night ! :)
All seems good with Annie, she is thinking positive :) And
apparently Richie is not letting her do much housework or
cooking ... BUT Richie is a better cook :) Annie DOES work
from home in Banking and has to be alert for calls etc :)
Baby is due near our Dan's birthday ...... 2nd October ... ish
