Remember I have talked about my old mate Freda ( RIP ) from
Marton.. well her younger son Brad ( 40 doesn't look it ! ) ....
turned up here this arvo to see Matt and luckily I had extra
Sunday dinner food cooking so he got fed too :)
Brad now has a girlfriend living in Hamilton ( 3+ hours N of
here ) so he was en route home to PN 1.5 hours South of here
and called in and will now stay the night up at the big house
with Matt. It was nice to see him as the last time was when he
visited us ( with a now ex gf. ) was in Helensville :) Brad was
married and has a girl 10 and a boy 8 with his ex. and they live
in Halcome just outside Marton... where we first lived when we
came to NZ :)
He was telling me how his brother Chris ( Dan's mate from Marton
) was losing the plot and had a foul temper ..... and their dad,
Kit and his ' live in gf.' were also having problems and Kit
did nothing except go out and walk round the fields all day !!!
Kit was 10 years younger than Freda when they got married so he
would be 67 now !
Interesting and no doubt I will be thinking about the Child 's
family story all night now :) PS CHILD is their family name :)
PS: I am putting this all in writing so I can remember it
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was a lovely surprise for you all and lucky you did have
enough of your roast dinner, dose that mean no left over
frittata?? Does Brad see much of his children from his marriage?
Does the family have a history of mental illness?

I got a bit carried away last night with my post about Brad and
HIS family but I thought you would remember my old mate
Freda..... just to keep it in the family :)
Not much left over for frittata on Monday :)))))))))))))))))))
But the dogs got the extra roast potatoes !
Brad does see his kids often apparently as they do live fairly
close by and Brad lives in his Ex wife's old house !!! But he
does also work away from home often as he does ... set ups for
music performances and stage stuff !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PASS !
NO history of mental illness as far as I Know !

Of course I remember you talking about Freda and the kids from
when you lived in Marton. You didn't see as much of them when
you moved down to Dunedin, did you? Wasn't Chris one of the
mates Dan went away with when he broke his back that time?
It sounds like Brad has a very interesting job and with
travelling as much as he would, it's hard to keep up a
relationship.

Yes I THINK Chris was with them when they went hunting and Dan
broke his neck falling off the balcony !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good
memory !
Brad does travel often to these gigs around NZ and Matt has been
on one or two with him to help when he first came back here from
Perth :)

I am not likely to forget Dan hurting himself so badly, it was a
terrible time while you waited to find out how bad it
was!!!!!!!! ((((((((((Dan))))))))))
I vaguely recall Matt going around to gigs, it seems like an
eternity ago. I so wish he would find his niche in life and be
settled and happy ((((((((((Matt))))))))))

Gosh yes, I don't like to think of the time when Dan fell and
broke his neck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thankfully all is good
nowadays ..........as far as I KNOW !!!!!!!!!!
I TOO wish Matt could get himself something he is more
interested in ... or maybe it is just because he is a Taurus
that he is so bullish and cannot stick at any job !!!!!!!!!!!!!
The latest job offered by his mate in Auckland would .. to my
mind suit him perfectly owing to his knowledge of Politics and
Law... and I Have often said he SHOULD be in Parliament !!
Not sure how long he would last but ............ :)

I can't see Matt in politics, he is not at all diplomatic, nor
is he a liar or cheat!!!!!! Although I suppose being on the
outside and giving legal advice would suit him better. One thing
for sure, Matt is not suited to an idle country lifestyle.

Yes you are right .. HE CAN be diplomatic ..... and Matt can
adapt himself to many situations BUT in the end he will lose the
plot and be straight out Blunt and say what he means
...................and lose his job !
Right now he is in a huff and thinking what to do next
??????????????? Help :(

It's time Matt learnt to manage his temper, he is not a child
anymore and the world isn't perfect, we have to adjust to it and
the rules and people who make them.
