What a load of Shi** ! DO away with real people working in the
checkouts....!!
I do have a vague memory of them starting this kind of thing in
Perth !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it may have been
Target !

I know and what happens when there are no longer any checkout
people and all the computers go down!!!!!!!?? I wonder would we
get a discount for doing their job for them?

I remember those old tills, I worked in a shop in my teens and
had to use one. Did you know they are now in antique shops

I love going into antique stores, but these days I see things
that I remember from my childhood!!!!! That makes me an antique
as well [emoji31]

I suppose we are now, when did that happen!!!!??
Robert and I went out to lunch on Sunday, it was nice to get out
of the house, we knew the restaurant at the club opened at 11.30
so we went in early. I was sitting there just looking around as
I do and noticed all the early patrons were older people!!!!! I
mentioned it to Robert and he looked around and noticed it as
well, I said to him we too are older people wanting an early
lunch before it gets busy!!!!!! It's the same if we got out for
tea, we go early before it gets busy and noisy.

I don't think it snuck up on me exactly .... since coming back
to NZ and not having a job or much to do.... except having the
grandkids around :) then I began feeling Old ! Since the
grandkids went to Abu Dhabi I feel even older almost in my
dotage with not much to do ! Or maybe it is just boredom ?
I think you have said that before Darien, about early Sunday
lunches seem to be mainly for older people :)))))))))))))))))))
