Oh wonderful news Chris so it IS all go now even IF you do not
actualleh move into the property straight away .... but I would
!!!!! Why leave it empty having bits done here and there and
where will you stay while this possible work is going on...

Good job Paul had NOT got Man Flu too but maybe there is still

Oh that is great news ((((((((((Chris)))))))))) that is only
next week then and you will have your new home [emoji7] I had
forgotten you were planning on having work done on the house, do
you have the flooring and everything else sorted out? If not, at
least you know now you can start to get things moving.
Removalists and internet connection is only a phone call away.
You will be very busy for the next few weeks, please keep us

I will take lots of photos once we are in, we need a wood floor
put in the office for Paul rather that carpet and Paul wants the
same in the dining room but I’m not bothered and that can wait,
the downstairs bathroom needs the bath taking out and a walk in
shower, we’d like that done before we move in because of having
to turn the water off.

Is the downstairs bathroom the only one? Do you have a loo
upstairs? I agree with removing the bath and having a walk in
shower, that's what we did and it's the best decision we made

Sounds like good plans and re: the water being turned off for a
new shower fitting ... good thinking !
DO many people still have baths nowadays ? Bonnie does have a
bath and separate shower plus sink and loo attached to their
main bedroom, also a shower, loo and sink in the other bathroom
down the passage :)

There is a small shower room upstairs with a shower, sink and
toilet, it’s only a small shower and we are thinking of
eventually taking it out and just having a sink and toilet in
there as it’s only a small room.

If you are thinking about getting rid of the upstairs shower,
why not do it at the same time as redoing the downstairs
bathroom? Is the upstairs one an ensuite?
