free-verse, prose-style piece of work which features some truly
beautiful lines and artistic clips. Although a bit longer than
my usual work, this piece, I consider to be, one of the better
poems I've written in awhile.

Special Poetry: Japanese Haiku & Fable
The special poetry experience brings you a set of six Japanese
Haiku
poems that I wrote for this presentation, and also an Old
Japanese Fable which I found some years ago and have decided to
include it in the video.
A traditional Japanese haiku is a three-line poem with seventeen
syllables, written in a 5/7/5 syllable count. Often focusing on
images from nature, haiku emphasizes simplicity, intensity, and
directness of expression.
