       Who is a friend of Christ?

       Everyone likes to say that Jesus is their friend, we even have
       some well loved hymns that talk about Christ being our
       friend....yet John 15:14 tells us who is His friend...according
       to this passage,
       Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
       we do NOT earn the title of friend unless or until we are
       obeying His commands.  In light of this passage, how can we sit
       and argue over whether or not obedience is part of our living
       for Christ as His child and ambassador to the world?  Isn't the
       honor of being child, ambassador, friend, all tied up in
       obedience?  Not in our own power, but in His power through the
       HS who dwells within us.
