As I read
I John 2:16
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the
lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father,
but is of the world.
the only thing that seems to make sence is that we are born into
a sinful world, that we are tempted from the get go to sin, but
NOT that we are born sinning. Change my mind.

why change you mind. We were all born with a "Sin Nature" but we
are born free of sin....the father's sins cannot be translated
to the son/daughter.
Deuteronomy 24:16..(KJV)..[b]"The fathers shall not be put to
death for the children, neither shall the children be put to
death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his
own sin."[/b]

So Blade, you agree that we are NOT born sinning....cool, it's
nice to find something we agree on without a lot of nonsense
standing in the way of communicating that.

This is an interesting question. It raises the issues of
traditional philosophy verses philosophy that that is
theological driven. I had one professor who thought that we are
all born in sin because we are all decedent from adam and eve
and since they sinned we are born in sin.
At the same time, my philosophy professor believed we are all
born blank slates and have not sinned or done good. Further, we
are not good or evil, but he does accept the thought that some
are born in a way to be "mail ad see"
With this all input it has always been my feelings we are born
in God's grace, but we are a blank slate to be molded as we
grow.

Mark, I agree that we are not born in the sin of Adam and
EVE...but rather have a Sin Nature (in the Blood) for each and
every one of us. one more verse to help clear it up?
Rom 9:11..(KJV).."though they were not yet born and had done
nothing either good or bad—in order that God’s purpose of
election might continue, not because of works but because of him
who calls—"
