Dreams - Post 'Em If You Got "Em
By: guest125 Date: March 6, 2020, 12:52 am
---------------------------------------------------------
I was driving a big city bus or a school bus for a college as it
had a logo and the bus itself was purple. There wasn’t a single
person onboard and I was alone on the freeway approaching an
overpass.
The bus was as a double decker and too tall to pass under so I
turned it around on this highway and in doing this I plunged off
the side and hurtled toward the earth below anticipating a
collision that never came. Instead I landed lightly and
proceeded along my assigned route.

I was on my way to my girlfriend's place in St. Clair MO at
night and it was raining. I was working as a courier with my own
car, a 1986 Honda Civic and making very little money after gas
and maintenance. Anyway, I would start in St. Louis at 8:30 AM
with some scheduled pick ups in IL to bring back to St. Louis.
The early stuff lasted 3 hours and then I would start picking up
at banks in IL and East St. Louis, Alton, Greenville and Glen
Carbon IL. I was getting cashed checks all going back to the
main branch in Peoria IL. The whole process took 9 hours to
finish and be back in St. Clair which is 60 miles West of St.
Louis and the Arch.
It was a grueling job that sounds easy until you're doing it
everyday. I was almost home and the last stretch was a dark and
windy country road for about 7 miles. I knew every turn, even
the sharp ones, been down the road dozens of times at night.
For some reason I was rushing and driving faster than normal,
lost in thought. I miscalculated my location and the upcoming
turn and it was the sharpest one at the very end. By the time I
realized I had entered the sharp turn way too fast, my mind
thought to simply let go of the wheel and fly into the trees.
I closed my eyes and relaxed as I left the road. I went over an
embankment and landed in the midst of trees rather gently and
the car was on it's side. I was disoriented but climbed out
unscathed and walked up to the mobile home. Melissa had heard
the crash and knew it was me she said. We were so thankful to
God that night.

I've had a few close calls while driving or as a passenger. But
what happened to me one dark night while driving on a long
highway with little traffic and no houses or businesses really
stands out for me and is hard to forget.
I was living in Florida and driving home one night after work.
It was about 10 pm. We would call that area the "boonies". I was
tired so I wanted to relax and take my time driving and not
rush. It was really dark too so I wanted to be cautious because
I knew there were animals that might try to cross the road. Then
I saw something on the side of the road up ahead. As I got
closer I saw what I thought was a scarecrow like someone would
have in a field but this one was right beside the road. As I got
even closer, it started moving and walking. Well, I was
terrified. So I hit the gas. I mean I floored it. So whoever
that was dressed up like a scarecrow had enough sense not to
walk out in front of my car. I wasn't going to slow down. I
wasn't going to stop. My heart was pounding until I got enough
distance away from whoever that was and slowed down. It's a
miracle I didn't lose control of my car. But that was a straight
road for the most part. I didn't see it again after that but
driving home on that road after that happened, I was more
prepared to expect the unexpected.

Lots of saints around you in those parts, eh? That’s a
tremendous amount of detail for a dream, which tells me it
wasn’t a dream, but something that really happened to you?
Have you ever gone and looked at this?

[/quote]Man, I'm sorry hahaha this thread is for dreams. It felt
like a dream, very surreal. I'm not good at reading dreams but
we know deep inside what our dreams are telling us. I have
experienced quite a bit in life and when I was young I was
around drug users and thieves among other deplorables, lol. My
recurring theme is that people are after me but I never really
know why, I just try to avoid being caught. Another theme is
working at jobs of various types and finding impossible tasks
that I'm supposed to do.

That image is along the river at Alton. Strange thing isn't it?

That's better--- I couldn't figure out why the image would not
appear, but many of the features here are only compatible with
Google Chrome and not other browsers. It was a me problem, not
a you problem.
This is the painting along the river near you Mark-- have you
seen it?

This all caught my eye-- I know the area from having driven
through there once with my son, but also a woman I know lives
there and if there ever was such a thing as a prophetess, she is
among them. At one time she went by the online profile of
sugarbee42 I think it was.
There's a funny thing about dreams where the meaning of names is
a key to understanding and so when considering what you had
written I looked at each place you mentioned and also at
Melissa.
Anyway-- while passing through St Louis that one time I met her
in person and I was aware of this thunderbird image painted on
the river bank at Alton, with which I have a certain affinity.
It's somewhat ancient (the original is) although the one
depicted is a replica. It reminds me of things that Ezekiel
also describes. It isn't far from where you lived and I
wondered if it was well known or forgotten.
