       The beauty of silence...

       I was trying to have a discussion about men's roles and once
       again it turned into a debate about women and their need to keep
       silent...so I thought we should talk about silence.
       Two scriptures to consider before we talk about the beauty of
       silence.
       Isaiah 53:7 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he
       opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter,
       and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not
       his mouth.
       Christ was silent in the face of great accusations....
       and
       Psalm 46:10 New International Version (NIV)
       10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
       I will be exalted among the nations,
       I will be exalted in the earth.”
       we are all called to be silent...at least for a season.
