God's promises...

I did a study not that long ago about the promises of God and
was surprised to learn that the promise is Jesus the Christ. We
like to call all kinds of things promises but they are not so
much promises as they are conditions. Like for example, IF YOU
X GOD WILL Y.
To that end I wanted to get a feel for what you all understand
about God's promises and whether or not you believe they are a
guarantee.

promises are not for me & you and other certain promise have

I believe that God keeps his promises.
Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of
man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act?
Does He promise and not fulfill?
Isa. 40:8 The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word
of our God stands forever."
Isa. 55:10 For just as rain and snow fall from heaven and do not
return without watering the earth, making it bud and sprout, and
providing seed to sow and food to eat,
11 so My word that proceeds from My mouth will not return to Me
empty, but it will accomplish what I please, and it will prosper
where I send it.

The Bible throughout shows that GOD above ALL else KEEPS HIS
WORD.......HE IS TRUE and Straight......otherwise how could we
believe in any word of the Bible if He was not.
