Where does Jesus say 2/3 rds?
Only those in Jerusalem are told to flee because that is only
destination of the invader, the abominator, there in Jerusalem
he will seat himself in the temple.
In the very specific and detailed quote I gave from Jeremiah God
says "I will not leave [Israel] unpunished but will chastise
them in measure" I can well understand from this that Jews who
rush to defend Jerusalem rather than flee will be killed.
Jeremiah and Daniel could not be more specific ... Israel will
be delivered, saved.

practice a false theology and accordingly, when the end comes
only a small minority of the current population of Israel will
live. right now it is around 6-7 million,,,,,,,`1/3 would 2
million.

Zech. 13 is speaking about the time of the Lord "I shall smite
the Shepherd and the sheep will be scattered"
Chapter 14 begins "Behold the day of the Lord cometh." so this
is where our attention should be focussed for the end times
We see that yes there will be much trouble in Jerusalem
verse 2.
For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle and
the city shall be taken and the houses rifled and the women
ravished and half the city shall go forth into captivity and the
residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city
verse 3.
THEN
shall the Lord go forth and fight against those nations as when
He fought on the day of battle
The rest of the chapter is a very good description of the
beginning of the Mill and corresponds to Jeremiah and Ezekiel
39- and Daniel 12. and Isaiah.ch.2.

When Jesus was arrested and the disciples fled the scripture
says "this was to fulfil the prophecy "I will smite the Shepherd
and scatter the sheep"
So ch.13 pertains to that time.
ch.14 begins "behold the day of the Lord cometh..." so it is a
prophecy concerning the coming of the Lord when He will fight
against the nation in defence of the Jews.
This agrees with Jeremiah 30 and Daniel. 12 and Ezekiel 37-39
God cannot be at one time punishing and scattering and at the
same time gathering and protecting.
