Thank you, God, for sending Your Son on one glorious night to be
born a virgin, to live a perfect life, and to die on the cross
for my sins. Thank you that he rose from the dead three days
later and that this Christmas and every Christmas we can
celebrate the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear God,
Give me the courage to begin again — to overlook the
difficulties, to overcome the obstacles, and to stay open to the
moment as best I can. Help me be patient enough to know it takes
time to start over and wise enough to ask for help from friends
and family when I need it. As I look to the future, to look into
this New Year, may I reflect on the past and remember the
lessons it’s taught me. And God, may I always look to you for
strength and guidance. Amen

Let us pray:
Loving God, We pray for the people of Ukraine today and for the
coming days. May you bring peace to this area of the world now
torn by war. We ask that you protect your children and comfort
them in this dire time of need. May your glory, wisdom, and
power over us all give the world leaders the wisdom,
discernment, and compassion to guide their decision. We pray
for those that will be lost to this conflict, we pray for all
the children that are now at risk and living in fear, we pray
for your protection of all the weak and innocent caught amid
this aggression
May almighty God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit--bless us now and
forever. Amen.

A PRAYER FOR LORI
Gracious Father,
I commend you, my dear friend, Lori, to You, almighty God, and
entrust her to Your care.
May Lori rest in the arms of the Lord who formed her from the
dust of the earth.
May holy Mary, the angels, and all the saints welcome her now
that has gone forth from this life.
May Christ who was crucified for us all, bring her freedom and
peace.
May Christ who died for us admit her into his garden of
paradise.
May Christ, the true Shepherd, embrace her as one of his flock.
May he forgive all her sins, and set her among those he has
chosen.
May she see her Redeemer face to face, and enjoy the vision of
God, forever.
In your hands, O Lord, we humbly entrust our friend Lori to you.
In this life you embrace her with your tender love:
Deliver her now from every evil and bid her eternal rest; no
sorrow, no weeping, no pain, but the fullness of peace, joy with
your Son and the Holy Spirit,

My brother Mike, 1M1S had a heart attack last Wednesday and he
has blockage. He's back home now and has an appointment to put
in a stint in June. Please join me in prayer and continued

Father, Your Son accepted our sufferings to teach us the virtue
of patience in human illness. Hear our prayer we offer for our
sick brother, the brother of PJ. May his recovery be without
problems and may his heart be healed. We asked that You bless
him and give him the wisdom and patience to heal and to continue
on in this life, and in love. We pray this in t he name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen

Heavenly Father, in a world where technology is literally at our
fingertips, it can be challenging to step away from the
temptation of our “gadgets” to spend time in prayer with You.
Help us resist the ease of the temptation to embrace hate that
is so easy to do on all the "gadgets" we now use. Help us all
to remember what is truly important in life. Amen.
