Father, how I long to know You in deep and personal ways. Help
me worship You at the altar of my heart, mind and soul, so I can
know you as the true source of all my joy. Amen.

A prayer for all on Memorial Day this coming weekend.
Most Holy Father, We are thankful for the sacrifice so many
throughout our history have made, for the men and women who made
the ultimate sacrifice and for their families who had to carry
on without them. It is a sacrifice that has become too easy to
forget. For those who have it, freedom is like oxygen. It’s
something we just have. Many will not understand just how
precious either is until they are at risk of being taken away.
Today I remember the many sacrifices made and debts we cannot
repay. Today I pray for the God of heaven to bless the families
of those who have lost loved ones while serving our nation. We
pray for you, Oh Lord, to bless and comfort the walking wounded
who are still with us, and bless their families as well. It is
also our prayer that we remember their sacrifice and the
precious gift of freedom every day, not just once a year or when
they are in danger of being taken away.
In Jesus Name, AMEN

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You, calling You father, Not
father that I feel I have to please or need to fear, but a
Heavenly Father. A Heavenly Father that has an unconditional
love for me. Help me fully appreciate this fact. Help me know
deep in my heart how rich and vast Your love is for me. Cast
out all fear from my heart I pray. In Jesus name, AMEN
Faith over Fear.

Mark-- this is a beautiful expression of your heart and it shows
a deep understanding of who He is, that we call Father.

Heavenly Father, how my heart rejoices in knowing that You care
so much for me. How can I even begin to fathom it? Help me see
it, help me know it. Today, dear Lord, open my eyes that I can
truly see the love You have for me. Thank you, Lord. Amen

I saw this on another forum. The author is unknown.
I thought it was well worth passing along.
Dear God, our Holy Father,
Please untie the knots that are in my heart, my mind, and my
life.
Remove the nots, cannots, and the do nots from my life,
Erase the will nots, may nots, might nots, that may find a home
in my heart,
Release me from the could nots, would nots, and should nots that
obstruct my life
And most of all God, I ask that you remove from my mind, my
heart, and my life all of the “am nots” that I have allowed to
hold me back. Especially the thought that I am not good enough.
AMEN

Father, forgive me for complaining. I have forgotten so many
times how wonderful You really are. I have forgotten about the
miracles you have performed through your prophets and Son. I
have forgotten the miracles you give us each day. Help me trust
You more. Today I commit to follow the path You have for me. I
beseech You to show me this path and give me the strength to
stay on Your path you have for me. AMEN.
