LX200, I believe that those images are real to you.

They are real. Full stop. They came directly from my telescope
using nothing but glass, mirrors and a CCD which only delivers
raw pixel values, not pre-processed data like a consumer grade

Hilariously bad attempt at quote mining there buddy. You
literally just searched for the word "problem" with no regard
for how it was used or what type of adaptive optics the article
was talking about. The system I use is just a tilt/tip mirror,
it's not the same as a deformable mirror system let alone
adaptive optics for microscopes (I'm amazed you didn't even
notice what your search results were returning). By all means,
delete my account, I'll just keep making new ones. Your
       authoritarian bs doesn't phase me.

No, that is not what those articles are saying. I guess when
your math teacher assigned you homework problems you took that
to mean math itself was broken and needed you to fix it. Just
because I use a type of adaptive optics with my telescope does
not mean the images are fake. It's just a tilt tip mirror which
corrects for some of the atmospheric distortions to keep the
stars steady in the image during the long exposures. It has no
way of faking the images. Instead of quote mining for things
you think prove what you want to believe, try actually listening
to someone who knows more about this subject than you.

To be clear, the title of the thread is a lie. The owner of this
forum claims that LX200 is being scammed by the manufacturers of
       this fantasy space cadet equipment.
