I'm here because I was referred to as a "scammer" by this
forum's owner because I use an adaptive optics unit when taking
deep space photos with my telescope. This is unacceptable and
defamatory. The owner of this forum seems to be ignorant and
does not understand what adaptive optics are for. They do not
create "fake images" and all of my photos are real. I use an 8"
Meade LX200 telescope with an SBIG ST-2000XCM camera and SBIG
AO-7 adaptive optics to take very long exposures of various
nebulae, galaxies, and other distant objects. The AO-7 is a
tilt/tip mirror system which directs the light onto the CCD and
corrects for the position of a guide star multiple times a
second, faster than the telescope's own motors could respond, in
order to compensate for drive tracking errors and atmospheric
distortions. It does not create fake or scam images. This page

I'll let you know how bad it is. I will allow you this thread
and even other new threads if you agree to stay out of my FE
threads. We get thousands of views here each week, hundreds each

started are not for your videos. I said you can start more
threads and this one as well. Heck, I can even make your own
personal board (forum) here if you plan to post a lot of your
material. I just don't a threads mixed with different content
that belongs in other threads.

period. You were duped into buying equipment thinking you could
see what NASA sees but in reality I know for a fact that NASA
only sees black and white PIXELS and the CGI and color in the
beautiful detailed images they present to the people. You are in

Well I see you made a thread claiming space is fake and NASA is
fake, clearly videos I have that demonstrate NASA spacecraft are
really in space would be relevant to that thread. But per your
ridiculous censorship, I'm not allowed to post those there. You

What happens if you combine a "black and white" (grayscale)
image taken through a red filter, then a green filter, then a
blue filter? You get a color image. Many astrophotographers do
this, but in my case the deep space camera I use is a single
shot color camera where the red, green and blue filters are
pre-positioned in a repeating matrix over the pixels. This is
how most consumer digital cameras work. They just combine the
grayscale channels from the red, green and blue filtered pixels
in the camera automatically without you ever seeing the process
or having any control over the interpolation used in the
de-Bayering process.

My camera does not generate CGI, it doesn't even have the
onboard processing necessary to combine the separate color
channels or interpolate the full resolution color images.
Adaptive optics does not mean "fake." You are ignorant. The

Fake. I don't know how much you spent but it's purely
entertainment, more pseudoscience. You should ashamed of
yourself for propagating this Fake material. The video even
explains how the images are altered, changed, man made creations
and NOT accurate depictions of "deep space". To top it all off,
even if just one of your images is partially close to being
accurate it doesn't prove a globe. Do you have footage and
images of planets?
