The truth be known, we know not the time Jesus arose on that
Sunday. All we know by the WORD of GOD is that He was not there
in the morning.
And for that matter there is only one scripture - as the KJV and
similar versions translate it - which says that the
resurrection took place on the first day of the week, and even
that scripture is in doubt as to it's authenticity.
No, Not really! in fact, the authenticity of the KJV has not
really changed in 400 years.......Not the other Bible versions
have, some more than others.
Since Jesus arrived on Sunday Nisan 10, Died on Wednesday
Nissan 14 and had three days and nights in the Grave, Sunday
would be the only day it could be.

.
In other words: had Jesus risen prior to sunrise, he would've
risen at night. But according to Matt 17:22-23, Mark 9:31, Luke
9:22, Luke 24:21-23, Luke 24:46, Acts 10:40, and 1Cor 15:4 he
rose from the dead during day.
I wonder how Olde Tymer knows that "day" was referring to
daytime as opposed to "calendar day"?
Mary Mags. She went to the grave before sunrise and met him and
he had already left the grave. ‘While it was still dark.”
He was speaking of a day as 24 hours, not the daylight or
night-time parts of the day.

Well... she got up early in the morning before it was light and
when she got there (early in the morning) he was already up.
Jesus was an early riser. He got up early in the morning that
day.
That’s why it was mostly fishermen he hung out with— also early
risers.

Bladerunner,
No, Not really! in fact, the authenticity of the KJV has not
really changed in 400 years..."
That doesn't preclude the possibility of changes before that
time. There are numerous scholars who question the authenticity
of Mark 16:9-20. There are also numerous scholars who claim
that it is authentic. The point is that there is no consensus
with regard to the issue.
re: "Not the other Bible versions have, some more than others."
You sure you don't mean: "Not that other Bible versions haven't
made changes, some more than others."?
re: "Since Jesus arrived on Sunday Nisan 10, Died on Wednesday
Nissan 14 and had three days and nights in the Grave, Sunday
would be the only day it could be."
Five calendar days would be involved as well as 4 night times
and at least 4 daytimes with that scenario.

rstats,
Will you explain what it is that you find intriguing about this
and the significance it has?
‘Just like Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of
the whale...’
Was Jonah 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of a whale? Who
knows? But Jesus was saying it was going to be “like” that for
him. Was Jesus going to be also “in the belly of a whale?” No-
he was going to be ‘in the heart of the earth,” so it was “like”
Jonah, but not “exactly” like Jonah.
It’s “like” we will see when ‘the two witnesses’ lay dead in the
street -and after three days they arise. After three days and
three nights? Who knows? It doesn’t matter. What matters is
that Jonah, Jesus, those two, Lazarus too— were dead, then by
the power and will of the Father were made alive again.
