What is the purpose of the Holy Spirit?

I have seen very few people talking in depth about the Holy
Spirit and His role in our lives. Some time ago I did a
complete study on the Holy Spirit and stand in constant
amazement of all that He does in our lives. So what do you
think the purpose of the Holy Spirit is and how does He fulfill
that purpose?

family member who did win a lottery...a significant amount of
money though they don't want me to say any more...it was all
pretty exciting we keep telling that family member that they are

God uses the Holy Spirit to accomplish his will and purpose. The
Holy Spirit comforts us, recalls to our mind the scriptures,
helps us to understand the scriptures, gives us strength, gives
us direction, helps protect us, draws us closer to God, and
intervenes for us in prayer even when all we can do is cry and
aren't able to utter a single word.

daily walk toward Righteousness is freely given from our LORD as
a result of a true believer in the Gospel of Jesus Christ (1 Cor
15:1-4).
The Holy Spirit will teach you and give one valuable insight to
the Gospel and the WORD of Jesus Christ among many.
The Holy Spirit will protect you as you have put on the suit;
the Armour of GOD, from all evil that is prevalent in this
world today.
Everything one does in a normal day, is a part of your walk with
Jesus and the Holy Spirit will guide you to Righteousness.
All you have to do is LISTEN to HIM!
