       Amillenialism vs Pre-Trib Millennialism: Comments
       By: guest8 Date: August 9, 2018, 8:38 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
These are the two main arguments of Escathology today.
The amellinnialism argument is usually associated with
replacement theology which states that Israel forfeited their
rights to the covenants given to them by GOD (Jehovah) in
ancient times. Their covenants were therefore transferred to the
Church (Body of Christ). Because of this, there will be no
Millennial as we are in it and Jesus is ruling spiritually
       today.
Premillennialism argues that we are living during the Age of the
Church and the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ is future to us.
There are several disciplines associated with this argument.
They are Pre-Rapture, Mid Rapture or Post Rapture. Post-Rapture
had its day in the mid 1900's but disappeared when the things
did not get any better as was prophesied. It is coming back with
       a vengeance.
Through literal, historical and grammatical interpretations of
the Bible (KJV) pre-mil, pre-trib seems to be the only game in
       town.

       I'm a cat too. Premillennial, but post-tribulation or pre-wrath.
PJ - if you are a MADispensationalist, you'll be pre-tribulation
by default. Ask your pastor, he'll know.

I really hope this topic takes off. I would love to discuss this
with Bible believers. There is no point at all in discussing
this with folks who don't believe it or only believe some books
of it. I mean, where is the common ground? I hope we can talk
here. If we can come out understanding that we can differ on
eschatology, and still be called a Bible believer I'd be
thrilled. On another site you either agreed with a position or
you were called a false prophet or worse. I don't need that. How
about you guys? Not to be a prophet of doom and gloom, but you
will find out that changing your eschatology changes a lot of
       other stuff.

You and I can discuss it? until the others surround the
wagon.lol.. As a literalist , I cannot for the life of me
understand the post-trib ideology. If you would, please list for
me the reason(s) that made you change from Pre-trib to
post-trib. Was it because you maybe change denominations,
(theologies), etc.????? While I will not be able to reply until
       late tonight, I will reply.

No. I was a Baptist before and I am still one today. About 20
years ago I was driving the car and my wife was reading the
       Bible out loud. She read
Rev 20:5-6 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the
thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first
resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they
shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him
       a thousand years.
I asked her to read it again. The part about the first
resurrection caught my attention. When we got home I started
trying to understand it. I kept this all to myself at first,
because to be anything but pre-trib in my church is anathema.
Eventually I asked a few close friends to show me my error. I
wrote a small paper to help me organize my thoughts. I read many
of the dispensationalists to see if I could be wrong. I read
Things to Come by D. Pentecost, I read John MacArthur's book on
it. I have read C. Ryrie, C. Larkin, and somebody else. Then I
got on a forum to see what other thought about it. I learned
       from them. I don't know if I am pre-wrath or post-tribulation
yet. My arguments may not be compelling to you, but I trust you
will see that I at least do have some Bible or my position. I'm
       still saved. :)

One of my most influential verses in posture are the
       following...
       Acts 1:6-12
But zoom in on 9-11 then focus on Verse 12 and carry locational
Revelation from verse 12 into Zechariah 14:1-4. Now pair
Zechariah 14:4’s locational revelation and circumstances with
Acts 1:12, then consider the Apostles Question to Christ in Acts
       1:6-8, followed by Chriat’s Answer.
If you take it literally and catch it, it should be a Holy moly
       moment.
All blessings in Jesus Christ to you.
That’s my opinion, of course. I am aware it can be read many
different ways, but see if you can see it.
