       As A Man Thinketh...

"The Battle for your Mind" (full sermon by Adrian Rodgers)
  HTML https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=362&v=7oURbbvVSuc
A beautiful Sermon by late Dr. Adrian Rogers, whom my wife and I
and my two kids listened to every Sunday morning for years. Oh
such wonderful words, the voice, the calm demeanor of that good
Pastor, it was truly refreshing to listen to him. Sure got the
message out clear too, .. we loved that man for his sermons, and
as the Bible says: "he shall receive his reward."
But if we look at this video closer, one thing specially sticks
out, it is the New Age, or this; NASA-science-age. Planets, the
Globe earth, beautiful CGI tour of the Star Trek space, with
quasars exploding creating black holes and eventually evolving
over billions of years galaxies filled with planets which are
said to be twirling and expanding along the Fabric of Spacetime,
all the while he speaks of none other then Jesus the Lord.
Well ask yourself, what does Gods son Word (akas Jesus our Lord)
has to do with the Globe earth, and Big-Banged space, and the
video also included scenes of biological evolution??
Who is our Lord Jesus Christ?
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was
       made that was made.
       What was made?
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the Heaven and the
       earth
       Through whom?
through as it says in John 1:3, .. through the Word, the son of
God, who later not just visited the earth, but became flesh.
It was the fourth day that God created the sun, moon and all the
stars, and put them in a place called heaven. It does not say
God suddenly expanded the sun, moon and the stars, but like he
did the grass of the field the daay before, He meticulously
       created it.
While Christianity is lulled to sleep with each wonderful sermon
from the Bible, another conspiracy is taking place in their
subconscious, just like it shows in this video, the messages are
subliminal, and are bombarding us from everywhere. So just as
the subject of this video: Proverbs 23:7 "For as he thinketh in
his heart, so is he:" we too have been conditioned to think a
certain way. One major fall is that we were made to believe that
       Jesus was God.
It is not hard to take us to the next step of this Giant
Conspiracy, for if Jesus was God, then the Roman Pontius Pilot
under the Emperor Tiberius was able to kill God.
The implication of such a beliefe can be eternal to ones soul,
       eternal damnation that is.
Look, if jesus was God, and both Jesus and God died, then 2/3 of
the trinity died that day, for the Bible is clear that God is
       our Father, not Jesus.
If Jesus is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, then they are all
       Fathers also.
One Christian Minister with his doctorate in Theology tried to
explain to me about this paradox, he said: "Yes, God is all
three, and all three are then Fathers. Think about it this way:"
he continued: "I am a father, and my son is a father, and my
grandson will one day be a father. So you see, the Trinity-God
is not so hard to understand!"
Well of course I begged to differ, nor would I "agree to
disagree", because I told him "that would be being lookwarm, and
we know how God feels about us being lookwarnm right?"
But of all the crafty apologetics regarding the Trinity, it was
our dear Adrian Rogers responce that starled me and my wife the
most. As my family and I were lisstening one Sunday morning to
Adrian Rogers "Love Worth Finding" weekly telecast, the
announcer asked if before he concluded his service he could
briefly explain the Trinity Doctrine; to the younger audience
who were listening to his program world wide? This is what he
said: (not verbatim, it has been years, and I have failed to
find this perticular sermon of his ever since)
"To our younger audience, I would sum up the Trinity is this
way: Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great
fall. All the king's horses, And all the king's men, Couldn't
put Humpty together again ... this speaks to me!"
With this, the Church audience clapped.
Wake up Brothers and Sisters in Christ, for as a man thinketh,
       ....
2 Corinthians 4:Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we
have received mercy, we do not lose heart. 2 But we have
renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness
nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation
of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in
       the sight of God.
3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who
are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded,
who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of
Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. 5 For we
do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and
ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For it is the God
who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in
our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of
God in the face of Jesus Christ.
This is why Jesus said: "If you have seen me, you have seen the
Father" because no one has ever seen Infinite and Eternal "I
Am", so God sent His son to reveal Himself to us in "knowledge",
to see Him in our minds, feel Him in our hearts. By "faith
through evidence with substance", not blindly accepting a man
made doctrine that doesn't make any sense.
       God bless us all!

Thank you my friend Blade, now please I ask you sincerely if you
could show me where we could find that God ever abdicated His
power? Or that God could do such a thing?
We know Jacob wrestled with a physical man who was actually God
in the flesh, but He remained God, only enjoyed wrestling with
Jacob, just as I used to do with my son when he was just a young
child. And yes, my four year old won every time just so I could
see his little face saying: "Ah win, yeah ah win!"
But the son Word is clear that he left his high abode as the
co-creator of Heaven and earth (all things were created through
him) and became flesh and dwelt amongst us. John 1:1-
       --- Quote ---
       > Therefore the Pharisees sentenced Jesus Christ, their own
messiah to Death at the hands of the Romans. Pontius Pilot
washed His hands of the matter as He tried to save Jesus from
harm. In the end, it was predestined that His soldiers carryout

to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" To the
time of His death, Jesus Christ was just a man.[/shadow]
       --- End Quote ---
There was never a time when Jesus was confused about anything,
and to think that he was God and confused is even a greater
       error.
The Kingdom of God did come, only in the spiritual sense:
John 11:23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”
24 Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the
       resurrection at the last day.”
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He
who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you
       believe this?”
We are baptized not unto death, but unto 'life'. In the baptism
we give up our flesh, we lay this old body in that baptismal
grave, and take on a New body, where this body we consider as
dead with Christ, and alive to the spirit, no longer following
the works of the flesh, but we live and walk in that Newness of
       "life" in Gods Kingdom.
Our old bodies are still with us, and are presented as a living
sacrifice to God daily by us giving up the desires of this
       flesh.
This is what the Jews did not understand, nor does Christianity.
The Jews wanted the physical New Kingdom, to have a Messiah rule
over their enemies, over the whole earth with them.

Pontius Pilot
washed His hands of the matter as He tried to save Jesus from
harm. In the end, it was predestined that His soldiers carryout
the wishes of the Pharisees over the Jewish synagogue. lAt this
time, Jesus was still a man for He thought the Kingdom of Heaven
(where He would reign and sit on Kings david's throne) would
come. He said:mat 27:46 "And about the ninth hour Jesus cried
with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is
to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" To the
time of His death, Jesus Christ was just a man.[/shadow]

Had you really read the Bible you would know that there are many
places where Jesus was not aware of what was going to happen. It
shows He actually believed the Kingdom of Heaven (Now a future
Millennium) that He was preaching to the Jews would come within
their lifetime. At the Cross at the end, He ask His father Why
had His Father forsaken HIM......Had Jesus know He was god, He
could have simply walked off or worse. He did not.. Have you
seen the Passion. The beating the Roman soldiers gave him in

So just as the subject of this video: Proverbs 23:7 "For as he

to think a certain way. One major fall is that we were made to

I have the impression that we have similar views on religion (I
       hope that doesn't insult you!)...
The following newsletter by Ben Williams reminds me of some of
       the things you posted:
       --- Quote ---
       > Religions affect languages by inventing new words and
redefining old words already in use. They need religious words
and phrases to facilitate religious rhetoric. Special, often
bizarre, words and phrases are employed to give voice to
       religious tenets.
       >
       > In the realm of religion, words and phrases are often hijacked
from the common vernacular and given new religious meanings that
       only work in religious venues.
       >
       > For example, the term “saved” means to be rescued from a bad,
or potentially bad, situation. But the same word in religious
realms can mean “qualified to go to heaven.”
       >
       > Likewise, the word “worships" means to admire and honor
someone. But in religious circles the term ‘worship” can mean
       “attending a church meeting.”
       >
       > Religions require their own sets of words and phrases to
facilitate their religious tenets. So they invent words and
redefine words. Words of religion become code-like terms,
supportive of their particular theologies. In time those
religious code words gain general acceptance and are used in the
common language. This affects entire cultures.
       > (...)
       >
       > They are the words and phrases reinvented and/or redefined by
priests and politicians. The public uses these words without
knowing what the words mean. Thus a major part of our common
language consists of words that have been changed from their
       original meanings and forgotten.
       >
       > Americans, for the most part, have no idea what the words mean
when they use them. In most cases people resort to popular terms
and believe whatever the priests and politicians tell them the
       words mean.

For me the most interesting of Williams' remarks is that
“Christ” was really the name for “Mithras” (that was the first
       time I heard that!).
Christians were persecuted by the Romans like Jesus had
predicted, while Christianity became ever more popular among the
poor people. Then the Romans found a better way to pacify
Christians: in the 4 century AD, Roman Emperor Constantine
merged the teaching of Jesus with Judaism and Mithraism. So
instead Christians fighting against the rich slavedrivers, they
       learned to respect the elite.
The Romans even made Jesus say that he supported taxes to the
Roman mass murderers (give the emperor what is his) and made
Pontius Pilate supposedly try to save Jesus from death (which
       Jesus then supposedly refused)...

places where Jesus was not aware of what was going to happen. It
shows He actually believed the Kingdom of Heaven (Now a future
Millennium) that He was preaching to the Jews would come within
their lifetime. At the Cross at the end, He ask His father Why
had His Father forsaken HIM......Had Jesus know He was god, He
could have simply walked off or worse. He did not.. Have you
seen the Passion. The beating the Roman soldiers gave him in
that film, was a small amount according to scriptures.
But in the end, you interpretation is what you and only you have
to answer GOD's judgement with... Be very careful.

[shadow=blue, left]you said: "Thank you my friend Blade, now
please I ask you sincerely if you could show me where we could
find that God ever abdicated His power? " Jesus was a Man at
the time of Crucifixion before He died yet in Mat 24:44. Notice
       the "NO MAN" part.
Mat 24:44...."But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not
the angels of heaven, but my Father only." Jesus at this
       time was only a man.
If that is not good enough for you, which I doubt, Mar
13:32..."But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not
the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the
       Father."
So in two verses of GOD's WORD which you disagree with, Jesus
tells us that as a Man He does not know the time (in Jewish
terms) the 2nd coming of the Messiah will happen.
THe other verse tells us the same thing except it adds "Neither
the SON" so as to clarify any misgivings you might have.
       Have a good day.

       > Had you really read the Bible you would know that there are
many places where Jesus was not aware of what was going to
happen. It shows He actually believed the Kingdom of Heaven (Now
a future Millennium) that He was preaching to the Jews would
come within their lifetime. At the Cross at the end, He ask His
father Why had His Father forsaken HIM......Had Jesus know He
was god, He could have simply walked off or worse. He did
not.. Have you seen the Passion. The beating the Roman soldiers
gave him in that film, was a small amount according to
       scriptures.

I'm not the one who claims Jesus was God, that would be the
       Christian Trinity Doctrine, not me.
Jesus understood thing far better than we can, because he was in
constant prayer, and kept the commandments to a "t". With such,
Gods Spirit is fully on him, instructing him, comforting him and
so on. Jesus throughout his ministry said he only speaks of what
he heard his Father speak, which is what was written in the
Prophets. That's why he kept mentioning: "It was written, ..
didn't you read this, and that!?" because the son Word became
flesh, and was tempted like we are tempted, he was not some
       god-man or a sun-god. That's what i was saying.

That's right, and this is why I am very careful not to create my

       > While Christianity is lulled to sleep with each wonderful
sermon from the Bible, another conspiracy is taking place in
their subconscious, just like it shows in this video, the
messages are subliminal, and are bombarding us from everywhere.
So just as the subject of this video: Proverbs 23:7 "For as he
thinketh in his heart, so is he:" we too have been conditioned
to think a certain way. One major fall is that we were made to
       believe that Jesus was God.

I have the impression that we have similar views on religion (I
       hope that doesn't insult you!)…[/quote]
Of course not, have you listened to George Carlin, or the best
guy that I have ever heard on Religion was: Christopher Eric
Hitchens, who was a British-American author, columnist,
essayist, orator, journalist, and social critic. Hitchens was
the author, co-author, editor or co-editor of over 30 books,
including five collections of essays on culture, politics and
       literature.
.. whom I so wished to have debated just Once on his show,
because the poor man, like his best friend Richard Dawkins were
as ignorant about the Bible as they were about the Big-bang and
       their Evolution theories.
But they were right on with Religion.
My message is NOT against the Bible, and our Creator revealed in
the Bible, but hoping to wake up the likes of Dawkins and
Hitchens (and you my good man if you think like them) that using
one ridiculous Religion (like the Big-Bang Evolution stories) to
try to make fun of another Religion like Christianity is, well
not as bright as they think they are. And boy them two are, or
       were proud (Hitchens is dead)
Just because they have a lot of follower, even in the millions,
doesn't mean they shouldn't stop and think about their message,
because it is out of sheer ignorance.

You misunderstood me my friend, just as your friend Ben Williams
here misunderstood the relationship between Bible-God and the
       gods in Religion
       --- Quote ---
       > Ben Williams - Religions affect languages by inventing new
words and redefining old words already in use. They need
religious words and phrases to facilitate religious rhetoric.
Special, often bizarre, words and phrases are employed to give
       voice to religious tenets.
       >
       > In the realm of religion, words and phrases are often hijacked
from the common vernacular and given new religious meanings that
       only work in religious venues.
       --- End Quote ---
I agree, especially in the Big-bang Evolution Religions, they
rename things "falling" into non existent imaginary thing like
"gravity", and make up all kinds of science fiction rhetoric
like gravitons, crotons, string cheese theory, leptons, black
and white holes, gravitational waves, bosons and a bunch of Star
Trek bs. I'm sure you heard the latest, like that NASA
discovered Tatooine, or their Star Wars Program, .. Lol. So
yeah, I know what he means!
       --- Quote ---
       > For example, the term “saved” means to be rescued from a bad,
or potentially bad, situation. But the same word in religious
realms can mean “qualified to go to heaven.”
       --- End Quote ---
Well that doesn't compute. In the Biblical sense, that is
       exactly what it means.
Look, like in baseball, when the ump yells; "Safe!" we don't
take that to mean "it is safe to jump out of a seventh story
window", right? I mean I doubt if the umpire seen this dead guy
flattened on the cement would yell: "Safe!" right?
We have to keep things in their proper context.
In the context of the Bible according to Jesus teaching, "one
saved" means he or she is qualified to go to heaven.
       What did he say next?
       --- Quote ---
       > Likewise, the word “worships" means to admire and honor
someone. But in religious circles the term ‘worship” can mean
       “attending a church meeting.”
       --- End Quote ---
Or when your favorite football team makes a touchdown, I have
seen sports fans actually bow down in worship before the
Big-screen TV in the Sport Bar. So you see we could also say
"worship means a touchdown made by your favorite Football Team".
I'm sure you agree that for millions of fans, watching sport has
       become a Religion, right?
       --- Quote ---
       > Religions require their own sets of words and phrases to
facilitate their religious tenets. So they invent words and
redefine words. Words of religion become code-like terms,
supportive of their particular theologies. In time those
religious code words gain general acceptance and are used in the
common language. This affects entire cultures.
       > (...)
       --- End Quote ---
I mean yeah, .. of course! Just like with sports. Here is some
Baseball language that effected entire cultures:
       * 6-4-3 Double Play: Shortstop to second, to first double play.
       * Aboard: Used to refer to “on base,” as in “there are 2 men
       aboard.”
       * Ace: Term used to refer to a top-notch starting pitcher.
       * Alley: Spaces in the field between the outfielders.
       * Around the Horn: When the fielders throw the ball around from
3rd, to 2nd to 1st during a double play OR when the catcher
throws the ball down to third and the fielders toss it around
after a strikeout OR when a hitter touches them all after a home
       run.
       --- Quote ---
       > They are the words and phrases reinvented and/or redefined by
priests and politicians. The public uses these words without
knowing what the words mean. Thus a major part of our common
language consists of words that have been changed from their
       original meanings and forgotten.
       --- End Quote ---
Yeah, sure, especially those who are not of the same belief, or
Religion. Or like those who hate baseball would never know what
those words (baseball slangs) really mean?
       --- Quote ---
       > Americans, for the most part, have no idea what the words mean
when they use them. In most cases people resort to popular terms
and believe whatever the priests and politicians tell them the
       words mean.
       --- End Quote ---

Oh come on, i wouldn't go as far as saying: "Americans, for the
most part, have no idea what the words mean when they use them",
       .. that's silly.
       --- Quote ---
       > For me the most interesting of Williams' remarks is that
“Christ” was really the name for “Mithras” (that was the first
       time I heard that!).
       --- End Quote ---
.. or, Mithras was created as a False Christ, .. by people that
hate baseball, .. I mean hate Jesus and the Bible!? Have you
       thought of that?
If you want a really good hate-Jesus film documentary, watch the
YouTube "Zeitgeist" Hate-on-Jesus and hate-on-the-Bible is
everywhere my friend, but most are distorted facts, made up
stories written by people who truly hate God. Not because they
believe He does not exist, right? No one would go into so much
BS if they really didn't believe in God.
My suggestion is that you hear all things out, then investigate.
Find out what's really behind their story? You will see that
atheism is the biggest hypocritical Religion there is, hands
       down!
       --- Quote ---
       > Christians were persecuted by the Romans like Jesus had
predicted, while Christianity became ever more popular among the
poor people. Then the Romans found a better way to pacify
Christians: in the 4 century AD, Roman Emperor Constantine
merged the teaching of Jesus with Judaism and Mithraism. So
instead Christians fighting against the rich slavedrivers, they
       learned to respect the elite.
       --- End Quote ---
In reality, if you study the Roman Christian History is that
Constantine took over, and copied the books of the Hebrew
Prophets, both the OT and the Apostles writings, then took this
word "Christian" that the gentiles used to mock the early
Disciples of Christ, and added them to their pagan religions and
idols. So yes, in the Original RCC-Christian Religion, they did
make Jesus as Mithras, and their sun-god which is none other
       than Lucifer.
I don't think Judaism accepts Jesus yet, but yes, Christianity
is a mix a little of all Religions.
There is a big difference between holding and preaching from the
Bible and actually believing in it. Would you believe a Used-car
Salesman if he swore on a stack of Bibles and quoted scripture?
No, right? You would go and check out the car yourself.
Yes, we as Believers and followers of the Way do respect and
honor our rulers, no matter how much they make us suffer, or try
to kill me, I mean us.

       > The Romans even made Jesus say that he supported taxes to the
Roman mass murderers (give the emperor what is his) and made
Pontius Pilate supposedly try to save Jesus from death (which
       Jesus then supposedly refused)...

       > Therefore the Pharisees sentenced Jesus Christ, their own
messiah to Death at the hands of the Romans. Pontius Pilot
washed His hands of the matter as He tried to save Jesus from
harm. In the end, it was predestined that His soldiers carryout
the wishes of the Pharisees over the Jewish synagogue.

You see my friend, God is God over Satan too, as he is over all
the other gods who take life into their own hands and murder
men, women and children with chemo therapy, or simply "put
elderly down" just like sick or unwanted dogs right after they
       start collecting Social Security.
As for the Romans and the Pharisees, they were no different than
our Military Rulers today, they both caused horrible suffering,
and terrible crimes against humanity which soon they will have
       to face up to.
Seek the Lord my friend, but just so you know that "there are
many false Christs out there", .. many denominations yelling:
"He's here, .. no, he is over there!"
Read the Bible, if there is anything in there (not what some God
hater atheist, or Religious Priest who want's to get you in his
church told you) that you don't understand, hey, I'm here, I can
maybe explain!? If not me, there is a lot of good info out
there, all you have to do is look, seek, knock!
       God bless you Firestarter.
