       THERE ARE TWO KINGDOMS

       [Matthew 3:2 KJV] "And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of
       heaven is at hand."
       [2 Timothy 4:18 KJV] "And the Lord shall deliver me from every
       evil work, and will preserve [me] unto his heavenly kingdom: to
       whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen." ********** There were
       two kingdoms being offered.
       
       Israel was promised a kingdom on earth, in which they will reign
       with Christ on earth for a thousand years.
       We are offered an inheritance in the heavenly places.
       To enter either kingdom a gospel had to believed.
       Israel had to believe on the name of Christ. They had to believe
       he was the Christ, the Son of God ******** [John 20:31 KJV] "But
       these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the
       Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life
       through his name."
       Israel had to believe the gospel of the kingdom. They had to
       believe the kingdom of heaven was at hand ********** [Mark 1:15
       KJV] "And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God
       is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel."
       For us we have to believe Paul's gospel. We have to believe in
       the shed blood of Christ, in his death for our sins, and that he
       was raised for our justification ********** [Romans 3:25 KJV]
       "Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in
       his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of
       sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;"
       [Romans 4:25 KJV] "Who was delivered for our offences, and was
       raised again for our justification."
