       WHO COULD BE A DISCIPLE?

       [Matthew 19:21 KJV] "Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be
       perfect, go [and] sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and
       thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come [and] follow me."
       [Mark 10:21 KJV] "Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said
       unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever
       thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in
       heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me."
       [Luke 12:33 KJV] "Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide
       yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens
       that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth
       corrupteth."
       [Luke 14:33 KJV] "So likewise, whosoever he be of you that
       forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple."
       *********** Very few who say they follow Christ by his earthly
       ministry sell all their possessions, and if they do, they have
       no benefit. This command was only for Israel. For Israel to be a
       disciple, they had to forsake all, which included more than just
       selling all; to be a disciple they had to forsake family

       forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother,
       or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall
       receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life."
