       [Colossians 1:14 KJV] "In whom we have redemption through his
       blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins:"
       [Colossians 1:14 NIV] "in whom we have redemption, the
       forgiveness of sins."
       The New Bibles remove "through his blood". It is through the
       blood of Christ that we have forgiveness
       and justification
