       A WEDNESDAY CRUCIFIXION DOESN'T WORK
By: doug Date: March 24, 2026, 1:10 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
[Mark 14:12 KJV] "And the first day of unleavened bread, when
they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where
wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the
passover? **************this is Nissan 14th. For a Wednesday
crucifixion this has to be a Tuesday.
[Matthew 26:20 KJV] "Now when the even was come, he sat down
       with the twelve."
[Matthew 26:21 KJV] "And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say
unto you, that one of you shall betray me."************ This
would still be Tuesday. Jesus ate the Passover seder Tuesday
night. This could be Tuesday or Wednesday. If they ate after
       sunset it would be Wednesday.
[Luke 22:66 KJV] "And as soon as it was day, the elders of the
people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and
led him into their council, saying,"
[Luke 22:67 KJV] "Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto
them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:"****************** as
soon as it was day would mean this is a Wednesday One way or
another, there had to be a Tuesday sunset, which would end
Tuesday and start Wednesday. For Jews, a day was from sunset to
       sunset.
[Matthew 27:35 KJV] "And they crucified him, and parted his
garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was
spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and
upon my vesture did they cast lots."
[Mark 15:25 KJV] "And it was the third hour, and they crucified
       him.".************** This would be Wednesday
[Matthew 27:50 KJV] "Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud
voice, yielded up the ghost." ************** Wednesday around
       3pm
[Mark 15:42 KJV] "And now when the even was come, because it was
the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,"
[Luke 23:54 KJV] "And that day was the preparation, and the
       sabbath drew on."
[Luke 23:56 KJV] "And they returned, and prepared spices and
ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the
commandment."**********here we have a problem. Preparation day
was the day before the weekly Saturday sabbath, but this isn't a
Friday, it's only Wednesday, nearing sunset, or it's after
sunset, and is now the start of Thursday.
A Jewish day is from sunset to sunset.
Tuesday sunset until the following sunset is Wednesday. If Jesus
was crucified Wednesday, he would be in the grave at 3PM. He
would be in the grave ONE DAY, but no night. This is DAY ONE.
Wednesday sunset until the following sunset is Thursday, Jesus
is in the grave the SECOND DAY and the FIRST NIGHT
Thursday sunset until the following sunset is Friday. Jesus is
in the grave the THIRD DAY and the SECOND NIGHT.
Friday sunset until the following sunset is Saturday, Jesus is
in the grave the FOURTH DAY and the THIRD NIGHT.
Saturday sunset until the following sunset is Sunday.
************ [Mark 16:9 KJV] "Now when [Jesus] was risen early
the first [day] of the week, he appeared first to Mary
Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils." **************
Jesus rose Sunday the first day of the week. Jesus would now be
in the grave the FOURTH NIGHT.
[Matthew 12:40 KJV] "For as Jonas was three days and three
nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three
days and three nights in the heart of the earth."
************Jesus said he would be in the tomb three days and
three nights. A Wednesday crucifixion makes it FOUR DAYS and
       FOUR NIGHTS.
       A Wednesday crucifixion doesn't work.
