HOW DO WE BELIEVE ON HIM?

[John 6:47 KJV] "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that
believeth on me hath everlasting life."******** In this verse
Jesus is speaking to Israel. Israel had to believe that Jesus
was their Messiah and the Son of God. This particular verse was
not for us, the body of Christ. ***************** [1 Timothy
1:16 KJV] "Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me
first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a
pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life
everlasting." ************** we also believe on Christ, but we
believe on his redemption through faith in his blood shed on the
cross.
