A FALSE ASSERTION THAT PETER WAS IN ROME

I read a catholic apologist, citing Romans 15:20, say Paul
didn't go to Rome because Peter was there and Paul couldn't
preach where Christ was already named.
[Romans 15:19 KJV] "Through mighty signs and wonders, by the
power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round
about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of
Christ."
[Romans 15:20 KJV] "Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel,
not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another
man's foundation:"............. Christ was named in
Israel/Judaea/Jerusalem/among the believing remnant of Israel.
Paul wasn't permitted by Christ to minister in Jerusalem where
Christ was preached by Peter and the disciples..........[Acts
22:17 KJV] "And it came to pass, that, when I was come again to
Jerusalem, even while I prayed in the temple, I was in a
trance;"
[Acts 22:18 KJV] "And saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and
get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy
testimony concerning me."
[Acts 22:21 KJV] "And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send
thee far hence unto the Gentiles."
[Romans 15:21 KJV] "But as it is written, To whom he was not
spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall
understand."
[Romans 15:22 KJV] "For which cause also I have been much
hindered from coming to you."...........Paul was hindered from
goin to Rome.
[Romans 15:23 KJV] "But now having no more place in these parts,
and having a great desire these many years to come unto
you;"........ Paul wrote this letter from Cenchrea (Corinth)
[Romans 15:24 KJV] "Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I
will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to
be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat
filled with your [company]."..........Paul intended to go to
Rome thru Spain.
[Romans 15:25 KJV] "But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto
the saints."
[Romans 15:26 KJV] "For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and
Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which
are at Jerusalem.".........Paul had to go to Jerusalem first.
Paul clearly didn't go to Rome because Peter was there, he was
hindered from going to Rome. When he was able to go to Rome he
made plans to go and did indeed go.
