THESE ANGELS DON'T BELONG IN DEUTERONOMY 32:43
By: doug Date: March 4, 2026, 4:37 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
The Septuagint is found in the codex
Sinaiticus...............The Codex Sinaiticus is the oldest
manuscript containing both the Septuagint and the New Testament,
and it shows significant differences in book arrangement from
the Hebrew canon and other Greek sources.
The KJV doesn't include verses from the codex
Sinaiticus............."The KJV does not contain verses directly
from the Codex Sinaiticus. The Codex Sinaiticus is a significant
manuscript that differs from the KJV in several ways, including
the omission of certain verses and passages. For instance, the
resurrection narrative in Mark (16:9–20) is absent from the
Codex Sinaiticus, and other passages like the Lord’s Prayer
conclusion and the woman caught in adultery are also missing.
Additionally, the KJV includes concepts and interpretations that
are not found in earlier manuscripts like the Sinai Bible,
indicating that it has undergone revisions and changes over
       time."
The KJV didn't use the Septuagint either..............."The King
James Version (KJV) translated the Bible using a combination of
the Masoretic Text for the Old Testament and the Textus Receptus
       for the New Testament."
My opinion is that the KJV didn't use the Sinaiticus because it
was corrupt and not reliable and they didn't use the Septuagint
because of likely corruption as well. The same corrupted verses
can be found in both the Sinaiticus and the Septuagint. Here are
       the verse comparisons:
Deuteronomy 32:43 from the Septuagint states: "Rejoice, ye
       heavens, with him, and let all the angels of God worship him;
rejoice ye Gentiles, with his people, and let all the sons of
God strengthen themselves in him; for he will avenge the blood
of his sons, and he will render vengeance, and recompense
justice to his enemies, and will reward them that hate him; and
the Lord shall purge the land of his people." .............This
translation has "let all the angels of God worship him"
The translation of Deuteronomy 32:43 from the Sinaiticus into
English is as follows: "Rejoice, O heavens, with Him, and let
all God's angels worship Him. Rejoice, O nations, with His
people; for He will avenge the blood of His children. He will
       take vengeance on His adversaries and repay those who hate Him;
He will cleanse His land and His people.".............This
translation has it as well "let all God's angels worship him"
The KJV translation does not contain "let all God's angels
worship him" and is translated from the Masoretic
       text..................[Deuteronomy 32:43 KJV] "Rejoice, O ye
nations, [with] his people: for he will avenge the blood of his
servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will
be merciful unto his land, [and] to his people."
The phrase can be found in Hebrews which is translated from the
Textus Receptus...............[Hebrews 1:6 KJV] "And again, when
he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And
let all the angels of God worship him."
Here is the possible reason the KJV translators did not include
the renderings from the Septuagint or codex Sinaiticus:
[Hebrews 1:5 KJV] "For unto which of the angels said he at any
time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again,
I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a
Son?"...................At no time did God say unto the angels
"this day have I begotten thee" speaking of the Son of God, Lord
       Jesus Christ.
[Hebrews 1:6 KJV] "And again, when he bringeth in the
firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels
of God worship him."...............Now when he speaks again to
the angels he said, "let all the angels of God worship him",
When did God speak this? God spoke it when Christ was brought
into the world!...................[1 John 4:9 KJV] "In this was
manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his
only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through
       him."
Deuteronomy 32:43 is included in the Song of Moses:
[Deuteronomy 31:30 KJV] "And Moses spoke in the ears of all the
congregation of Israel the words of this song, until they were
       ended.".
[Deuteronomy 32:44 KJV] "And Moses came and spake all the words
of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son
       of Nun."
[Deuteronomy 32:45 KJV] "And Moses made an end of speaking all
these words to all Israel:".......................The Song of
Moses was spoken by Moses, not directly by the Lord, as in
Hebrews. The Song of Moses is recorded way before John records
Christ Jesus was brought into the world.
The Septuagint and the Sinaiticus both place "let all the angels
of God worship him" in Deuteronomy 32, in the midst of Moses's
Song of Moses, where it doesn't belong.
